Amazing food and service! We had a party of 5 for my birthday and one was a small child. They were accommodating for the little one as well as the adults. Food was rich in flavor and cooked perfectly. Great birthday experience!

Enjoyed a great lunch with DOE retirees at Diamond’s today. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful and they had a really extensive lunch menu. We shared two different salads, warm, crusty bread and several different entrées. I had the eggplant parmigiana served with either penne pasta, or potato and vegetable. I chose roasted potatoes and a perfectly cooked vegetable medley. Service was great and we all agreed to come back again soon! 😋

From the moment we walked in, Diamonds Restaurant delivered an outstanding experience! The menu is full of delicious Italian classics and unique dishes that are clearly made with care. Every bite was flavorful and fresh, and the service was top-notch, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It’s rare to find a true gem like this in the area. Definitely worth the visit and already looking forward to coming back!

Our first time here. Food was exceptional. My wife had Lamb Chops cooked as ordered and very tasty. My chicken Francaise was excellent.3 breasts thick and cooked perfectly. Our calamari was also good.

My cousin and I ate at Diamond's a few Friday nights ago. We were flabbergasted to see we were the only customers in the restaurant aside from a private party in the party room. I was afraid the food would not be good or something because no one was there. To our surprise the food was amazing. I mean darn great! I've been a customer since 1982. From Chambersburg to Ewing to Pennington to Hamilton and now Yardville. In my opinion, with the new owners, the food is even better! Apparently one of the owners was the chef in the kitchen that night and the food was amazing!!! If for some reason you've stopped frequenting this place, you MUST go back. You will not be disappointed. There even appeared to be more things on the menu to choose from. My cousin chose steak. That's his go to there. I had the pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage. Both excellent! And if you're really lucky, Tyanna will be your waitress. So sweet and personable. Great Meal. Our family is actually eating there on Easter Sunday. Can't wait!

Diamonds continues to deliver. While I miss Tommy and Anthony, the new owners have not missed a beat. Had a great anniversary dinner tonight with my beautiful wife getting her jumbo crab cake and my required sausage bread. Great service and great food.

This restaurant has a formal, upscale feel which seems most suited to special occasions. There are old-timey ballads for a rustic atmosphere and very warm lighting, not too dim. There is little natural light even if you go at midday, so it definitely feels more like a dinner than a lunch place, and I'm saying that as someone who went for a late lunch.

The staff were generally helpful and friendly, and happy to give me more time to peruse the menu. They gave a complimentary bread basket, and to my pleasant surprise, actually gave more than enough butter for the bread. Most places I go only give a tiny amount of butter, so it's always nice to have more butter than I need for the bread basket. The bread was a nice sourdough with a good crumb—not too hard or soft.

As far as ordering goes, I was slightly disappointed to hear that they were out of escargot (I was hoping to get the escargot appetizer as well as the escargot and artichoke linguine), but it is what it is. I instead got the four-cheese tortellini soup and a filet mignon with mashed potatoes on the side. I sadly found the filet mignon to be rather dry, and there was only a tiny amount of sauce drizzled on top (more decorative than anything—I think it was A1 sauce?), and there was no pitcher of sauce on the side to counteract the dryness. It was effectively a sauceless steak, which is fine when the steak is juicy, but in this case, it wasn't.

The tortellini soup fared much better, thankfully, and the mashed potatoes tasted amazing. I got a tiramisu cake for dessert. The dessert had an adorable bunny piped on the plate with chocolate. I appreciated the strong coffee flavor of the cake (I don't like tiramisus that are too sweet).

One thing I found interesting was how deserted the place was. Granted, I came rather late in the afternoon, but even so, I hadn't anticipated how deserted the place would be. I did also have to ask for my water to be refilled, which is fine for very casual places, but at nicer diners like this, I would have liked my water to be refilled without me asking, especially because the place wasn't busy at all.

I think for the price, I'd expected a bit more from the food and the service, so I'm giving a solid 3 stars—not bad, but not exceptional. Perhaps I'll come again to try the pasta dishes sometime, or if they manage to get escargot back on the menu.
