I called to ask about how long will take my order but the guy was so rude telling me that he doesn’t cook so is not his fault instead of tell me to see what he can do about it. I work in restaurants and know sometimes how busy the place can be but that’s not the way to answering.

It’s a shame. The food is great but the service is disappointing. I placed an order for tacos, birria and steak. I go to pick up the order and after returning home, I realize that they forgot the birria sauce. I guess my mistake for not checking? It was a simple mistake which is fine! But I call, explain that there was no sauce and the lady says she’s sure that it was placed in the bag.. But if I’m claiming it isn’t, to stop by and pick up the sauce. I would’ve rather her accept the mistake and make things right but instead, she made the comment to a paying customer who would visit religiously. Never again!

I’m incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at El Mexicano. I ordered quesadillas, and they were served without any cheese! I called to let them know about the mistake, and they kindly offered to remake the order. However, when I went back to pick up the replacement, the new quesadillas still had no cheese!

Quesadillas without cheese aren’t even quesadillas. This lack of attention to detail is unacceptable, and the inconvenience of having to return only to face the same issue twice has left me very frustrated. I expected better quality and service.

I won’t be returning anytime soon.

My family came here for a birthday and had a lovely experience. This Mexican restaurant is very casual and fun, covered with vibrant, colorful paintings and decor. There's no shortage of things to look at - every single inch is covered with something, which creates a lot of visual interest.

They serve massive portions at low prices, and we ended up taking lots of the food home. The food is very tasty, if a bit greasy (depends on the dish), and fully authentic. It makes things easier when ordering if you can speak a bit of Spanish, although you'll get by if not. Service was quick and it wasn't crowded when we went for dinner (granted, it was a week night). You'll definitely want to get a big booth, even if you're dining alone or as a pair - the plates are very big.

Overall, a great place to bring the kids or come with friends on a Saturday night. The music is festive but not too loud, and the staff are very friendly. We'll definitely be coming again!

Don’t get me wrong the food is amazing however whenever you call to place an order it’s only Spanish speaker on the other end who often messes up the order bc they don’t understand English. I’m sorry I’m not Mexican but I enjoy tacos. If you don’t reply in Spanish there were often times they hung up on me. It’s rude and disrespectful. At least have someone who speaks minimum English.

Me and my daughter went there for the first time to gaining experience of the food but we waited an hour in our food wasn't even started the person at the front desk never told me or went to see how my food was doing I don't speak Spanish and if you don't speak Spanish I suggest you not go😔 this was our first experience which was our worst experience

I can’t say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere. The decor, filled with authentic Mexican souvenirs, truly transported me to another place and added to the overall charm of the restaurant. The food—absolutely delicious! Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients.
The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience.

Food is great. Service is horrible.. waitress are constantly in their phone not paying attention on the drinks food or anything else … I had to keep asking over and over to get a refill and sauce .. took over 10 mnts to get the check ..
