Ordered 1/2 double sheet cake for grandsons birthday. Cake was delicious and everyone asked me where I bought the cake. The decorator did a fabulous job and went above and beyond to make the cake look perfect
Delicious breads and pastries always loved the wreath bread during the holidays
Place is dingy! I should of walked right out. I was craving italian butter cookies so I decided to close an eye to the dingy looking store. Their cookies were the worst I've ever had. They were rock hard, simply stale. I do not believe they are baked on premise and are just store crappy cookies that they threw in a case. Service was slow and rude.
I just picked up some rolls and some hot cross buns on Easter Sunday!
The hot cross buns were disgusting and extremely stale. I had to throw them out on Easter Sunday. So I didn’t get to have breakfast! This is pathetic and ridiculous.
One of the worst bakeries I have been to. I asked for a Italian rum cake. It did not taste like one. I’ve had some of the best in the Philadelphia area and this one ranks at the bottom.
Awesome place
All the girls that work there are friendly and nice to the customers. I love going to Italian People’s Bakery. All their bread and rolls are so fresh!!

Could I rate this place a zero? Please? No? K guess I’ll settle for a one star :( I am so saddened at the state of our world today that some people lead their lives with such hatred and anger. A prime example of this is a woman who works at this establishment. My dear friend had visited a few days before Christmas to order a bread wreath and even offered to pay ahead of time to secure one for the 25th! He was met with impatience and a biting remark that he could only preorder if he was buying FIVE wreaths!! Who in their right mind is eating five whole bread wreaths? Incredibly unreasonable!! Fast forward to Christmas Eve my dear friend woke up bright and early to secure a bread wreath and was again met with disrespect and a “they aren’t ready yet”… so now we’re advertising that products are ready when they aren’t? smh. Long story short if you want a Christmas bread wreath look elsewhere unless you want to be met with disrespect and malice. Do better IPB.
I usually do not post reviews however!! This bakery location has never been my favorite and now the rude service just topped it of. My mother went there in person in Dec 6th and talked to the owner to order Cannoli's in advance for pick up in Dec 24th. The lady talked with my mother about which cannolis she wants, when and how many. The lady told my mom she could not order till a day or two before her pick up date. We thought this was weird seeing how its around a Holiday…but ok she works there and should know. Fast forward to today I call to order my pick up and the lady who answered said they were not taking anymore orders for tomorrow. I said no I was told to place my order today to pick up Cannoli’s tomorrow. Then she said they do not take pastry orders and hung up on me. The entire conversation was very rude and to just hang up on someone is crazy when the information that was given was in person.

I definitely won’t be coming back. My experience started off with me having to ask several times what flavor was the cake because I just wanted a simple vanilla cake. The lady who first assisted me confirmed it was vanilla. I then asked for Happy Birthday Grandpa to be written in blue writing. The lady who assisted me then gathered around 3 girls who were all contemplating who was going to write on the cake. Another woman stepped up confidently to voluntarily write it in which the woman who first helped me communicated to her that I wanted Grandma written. As I shouted across the now packed (simply there’s space to fit maybe five people) bakery that I wanted grandpa, the lady acknowledged my request and took back the cake to be written on. She comes back minutes lady to say they have no blue ICING. (Keep icing in your mind). The first woman who assisted me then comes back to me to say now that the cake is half chocolate and vanilla, which is fine but a little bothersome considering I asked several times and stated I wanted vanilla. I wait 10 minutes for 3 words to be written and then be handed this - a gel, all caps, different size letters, crooked mess with random exclamation marks after birthday and random squiggly at the bottom. I kindly paid and left but I’m highly disappointed to bring this to my grandpa’s birthday lunch.

I came here for the first time and bought a buttered roll and the lady that works there, short blonde hair did not wear gloves. Not hygienic at all.
Got a dozen donuts and they were stale… gave a 2 star just because they used to be a reputable establishment.
Best rolls

Wow, this was my first and last time visiting this bakery. What is with the attitude of all the workers at this place. There was literally only 1 nice staff person (a blonde lady), the rest (both young & old) were incredibly rude. I refuse to patronize this establishment going forward. I’ll take my business elsewhere, where service is more professional.
Edit: Had to throw out the whole bag of cookies. Inedible, not fresh. Not going back.
