Joe Italiano's Maplewood Mays Landing

I went for the first time Friday night, Valentines evening. It was absolutely delicious! Did not disappoint! Was told it would be an hour wait but was seated in 27 mins. Our waitress was awesome, service was fast, food was top notch! Also the best tiramisu I've ever had!

It was a little dark, and they could have turned on more lights, but THE FOOD! Oh my gosh, so good and the service was incredible. We will definitely go back!

Very disappointed in the dish, called the cousins lobster crab.
White wine sauce. Lobster was extremely tough, very, very chewy, and the sauce was tasteless. This is my very first time not having a good meal there, and I've had this dish many times. Something crazy must have happened in the kitchen. My service was good.The atmosphere was fine.

I recently dined at Maplewood Italian Restaurant and had an exceptional experience. I ordered the Chicken Gnocchi Alfredo, which was absolutely delicious! The gnocchi was perfectly cooked, and the Alfredo sauce was creamy and flavorful, with tender chicken pieces adding the perfect touch.

The meal started with warm, fresh bread and a house salad that was crisp and well-dressed—a great beginning to the meal. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the service was attentive. Overall, Maplewood Italian Restaurant is a must-visit for Italian food lovers. Highly recommended!

Not for me. Husband and I tried this place for our anniversary. The salad had too much dressing. The calamari was mushy. The spaghetti was overcooked and had too much pasta water. The sauce was too sweet and cheesy. Tasted like it came from a can. The positives: the service was good and the garlic bread and dessert was nice. Very disappointing after seeing how positive the other reviews were. Maybe they were having a off night but we're not going back

We sat in the bar area celebrating our friend’s birthday. I did not get her name, but the bartender working the evening of 10/15/24 was excellent. The food was excellent. Nice sized portions and so delish! Drinks were on point too. Will definitely come again.
