Maurizio's Pizzeria & Italian

This location is better than the other location in Mays Landing. I have ordered from the other location closer to my home in Mays Landing but hands down, this one is the best, especially for stromboli. It is a small venue so do not sit near the door in the winter. The food is really good but the service leaves much to be desired. For example, we had to ask for parm cheese several times. Overall, the waitress was not attentive to our needs at all. My granddaughter had to get up from the table and ask for the check since we had been ignored. Take out only for us for now on.

I spent 23 bucks on 1 lousy cheesesteak I was charged everything a cheesesteak normally comes with I used to spend the most 15 in this place for one. it came with everything bacon included. It is ridiculous that one cheese caused this much without lettuce without tomatoes and then was charged one dollar for onions two dollars for hot peppers three dollars for bacon and cheese steak should never cost $23 and it looks like it’s ground beef and not even real beef and it has yellow cheese. That is ridiculous. Very unpleasant will never be coming into this place again and will not be recommending to Absolutely no one!! 👎👎👎

Was on a business trip was around 8 o’clock was tired and decided that I wanted some faster food. I pulled in to the complex where there was a red Robin and then I saw this pizza place and decided to give it a go. What a great decision awesome variety of pizza. I got the granny pizza which was absolutely the way that I love to have pizza crispy, flavorful enough sauce, fresh cheeseabsolutely perfect piece of pizza highly recommend.

My husband as a treat brought home pizza, and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The pizza was falling apart, cheese was separated off the slice. I couldn’t even separate the slices. I called to complain and the manager on duty decided to argue with me. I WILL never go back there again.

So I’m torn writing this review. This is my go to for pizza and it’s always good. Delivery is always fast and the food is always hot. This weekend we decided to order 2 cheesesteaks instead of pizza during the game, GO BIRDS 🦅. The cheesesteaks were huge but the meat was so chopped up it was like mush and the cheese was wiz with no flavor. I have to say it was the worst tasting cheesesteak I’ve ever had. I will stick to pizza in the future. Sorry for the bad review.

Chicken Caesar pizza was takeout it was burnt on bottom and around the edges. All others in past were delicious. Was really looking forward to it after a long week. Scraped it off the pizza and ate it like a salad. Probably will not order again unless I inspect it before leaving the premises. Which is recommended.

Review is based on delivery, which is consistently 'meh' and leaves you questioning whether the calories were worth it. We were craving pizza late at night after all of our usual spots had closed. Our options were Maurizio's or Pizza Hut. Maurizio's won that battle, but we lost out in the long run. We ordered a chicken cheesesteak which had an appearance similar to cat food. Very unpleasant texture and the cheese had an odd texture. Also tried a regular cheesesteak with mushrooms and onions and the odd cheese. Another unpleasant sandwich - Everything had a rubbery texture and lacked seasoning. The pizza was floppy and equally as flavorless as the rest of the meal. Next time we'll give Pizza Hut a try.

Just received an outstanding takeout order…. The chef Braulio actually called me because I placed an order for linguine with white clam sauce with red on the side so I can mix it. He actually custom made it for me and it is pure perfection. Many thanks! My wife had fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and she requested it with less sauce and it was unbelievably delicious. Thank you. Can’t wait to come again again.

The food is amazing

This was the first time we ordered from Maurizio's on Halloween night. I usually don't leave reviews but the food was so good , we ordered chicken delicious Tortellini soup , pasta faggioli, grilled chicken Caesar salad and delicious peperoni pizza. We used the Slice app and delivery was so fast . This will not be our last time ordering

This is the third year in a row that I have chosen Maurizio's to cater our employee anniversary event and we just can not rave about the Food, Service and Prices at Maurizio's. Carlos is very attentive and friendly. But let me tell you about the food. I already visit from time to time for the delicious Pizza and selection. However, let me just start with the catered Tossed Salad, OMG, so darn pretty and delicious. If you are an olive (black and green) and jalapeno person, this salad is for you. Even the balsamic dressing was out of this world. I wish that I took a picture of that salad! We order two types of chicken wings and the reviews were they were some of the best wings ever eaten! We ordered calamari, mussels, chicken a diane blanca (YUM) but the request from last year were the eggplant rollatini, broccolli rabe with Sausage and (OMG) the cheese ravioli! I'm not a ravioli person but at the urging of my coworkers, I tried it. Picture my eyes rolling in the back of my head!!!! The eggplant rollatini (Jesus KNOWS how delicious that is) and who would guess a simple broccolli rabe and sausage would be out of this world! This was accompanied by rolls, buffalo sauce, salad dressing and marinara sauce as well. ALL DELIVERED PIPING HOT STILL! KUDOS! HATS OFF to you guys there! Another year of gaining additional customers!

the customer service was terrible. my friend and I come in and there were two servers, both older white women. the tables opened were left with crumbs and used napkins on them and it took them 15 minutes for one of them to tend to us. after ordering our pizzas, 30 minutes or so pass, and we noticed that 6 costumers after us had gotten their pizzas before us. so I brought attention to the server about it and she responded “they got soup, so that’s easy to get” when they also clearly got pizzas! like be so for real girl, I’m talking about the 6 slices of pizzas they all ordered. I only ordered a slice of plain sicilian pizza & a slice of buffalo chicken pizza. she proceeds to say it’s because my pizza takes longer to cook. I used to work at a pizzeria so I call bs. it does not take 30+ minutes to make an already made pizza, come on. no apology or accountability. like if you forgot our order, just say that. I’d rather you be honest than make up excuses, I would’ve forgiven, I understand we all make mistakes.
the pizzas themselves were’t that good either, below mid. not worth it. I feel guilty I gave a poor tip because I usually tip well, but the service left an uneasiness in my soul. never coming here again.
