They are always out of something. Be it a certain ice tea or a certain bread that goes with your sandwich. Don't order a grilled cheese. There's barely any cheese on it and you will be disappointed. The areas where you sit are always clean and top notch. And you do always get served fast, which I appreciate. But when you're getting the egg white sandwich and its only 10am and they don't have the bread for it that they usually use on the sandwich, you wonder why is it called panera BREAD? And you're out of the bread for the sandwich?? Just plain weird.
Sheer laziness. We ordered our food TO DINE IN and we got everything in bags and in to go containers. We were told that because they are closing at 9, that they gave us all our stuff in bags and in to go containers. We ordered at 820 & now we are eating our food with no plates or no trays to put anything on it because they are too lazy tonight to give us actual plates and bowls. This place is such a friggin joke. We’ve gotten food here even later than that and never got it in to go containers. It’s because this specific team tonight wants to be lazy and doesn’t feel like doing dishes. You always get shorted when the stuff is in Togo containers. The food portions and soup is smaller and it’s just bullshyt.

If you order via their app, if possible, DO NOT PICK UP VIA DRIVE THRU. Both times, I’ve ended up sitting in the drive thru queue for 10 - 20 minutes. Always walk in for your pick ups instead. I thought it was a one off experience and decided try again since it’s pouring outside, but it seems this is the norm at this location. Try the other Hamilton location on Whitehorse if you want a more decent experience with the drive thru. Food is fine/consistent with other locations.

I normally don't leave reviews on places I do or don't like, but panera is simply too expensive for what it is and my food was horrible. I used to go to this specific panera because i thought the pastries and breads were nicer than other paneras. I ordered my favorite sandwich tonight and it tasted like the smell of a basement. The bread tasted like it came from frozen and there was barely any cheese or chicken, it was all tomato. Also, I know it isn't this locations problem, but the new sauce tasted nasty too. For the price I paid, I might as well have gone across the street to redrobin for a cheaper, tastier and bigger portion.
