A not too fancy place, but the food is great!! It's like a neighborhood hang out. I had ravioli with vodka sauce and sausage soup, yummy!! The bread is served warm is so good it's tempting to over eat it. My husband had ravioli in olive oil and garlic. I had a taste and I'll order that next time I go there. Will also try their tomato pies next. Busy place with loyal customers. Try it out, won't disappoint.

Good food, good portions, good price. I've had better service but it wasn't too bad.

Food is barley adequate although not very pricey... I ordered a cheese steak and it was just previously frozen steakums fried in a pan that was rubbery. The bathroom smelled like straight up piss and was dirty as hell. The place was filled with people 60+ maybe it was senior citizen night or something idk.... plenty of much better places in the area that are much more cleanly.

I’m hoping it was just a bad night but I recently went there for dinner. Ordered a big Pete’s special my kids ordered the jack Daniels steak special and the Delmonico steak. My cheesesteaks was cold , had to send it back. The jack daniels steak was lukewarm and the shrimp was cold. My son didn’t want to send it back - he was starving. Again, I’m hoping it was just a bad night. I’ll go back to see if I’m correct

Waitress called myself and my daughter “girls” I asked not to address me as a girl as a 50 yr old woman ! She wanted to go back and forth I told this was condescending and just not the way she should address a patron . She was really slow it wasn’t that busy ! I had the fish and chips which is supposed to be a specialty here It was fresh but I wouldn’t eat it again no frills nothing special !! I would not visit again we got some looks when we entered 👀👀👀 it was clear people of color not welcome here

Food is decent, but the cheesesteak needs HELP. The roll is very basic, no good. The steak needs 10% more meat. Won't order it again unless they get a better roll like Aversa n fix the meat. Needs a better cheese too. $9.58 + $2 tip. Fix the sandwich n make it $11.50.

You can always count on petes steakhouse to come through with a great casual meal. The staff is fun and the price was reasonable.

Me and my son have driven by this place a hundred times. We see people going in and out all the time. We kept saying that we should try the place. Well today was the day and it was a big surprise. Our visit was on Monday for lunch and the place was full. The inside looks much bigger than the outside of he building. The place is vintage Trenton with the decor from the 1970's. The customer's look like a loyal bunch that followed this place from its original location in Chambersburg. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I have to say she was vintage too. We ordered the mussels from the appetizer list and there were so many. I would guess 20 or more. This was just $10.99 . I have been at places that charge $13 for about 10-12 mussels. These are very good. Next we both ordered the cheesesteak. These were better than the places in philly that claim to be the best in the city. The steak was not cheap chopped up steak but real meat that was tenderized. The cheesesteak was very tender and not greasy Oh and they gave us a large basket of bread too. So if you are around this area I would highly recommend that you stop by and give it a try.
