A very disappointing experience 3 couples experienced on April 13, 2024. Service: The waiter did not write any orders down, messed them up, to spilling the drinks on the table because he did not use anything to carry them over. Ended up waiting over 2 hours for our food to come out. Food: appetizers were pretty good, especially the rice balls and pig wings. Dinner bordered on disgusting and 3/6 were completely inedible. The first dinner (shrimp&scallops) came out and was cold and the fish was so over done, they were hard. About 10 minutes later 3 other dinners came out (1 eggplant and 2 steak dinners). A few bites of the eggplant was eaten, however the side dishes did not come out, 1 steak was decent and another was unedible. 1/2 steaks were cooked to order and both were loaded with grizzle/fat. 5 minutes later a burger came out which was good, however the side dish never came out (fries). About 10 minutes later the final dinner came out (chicken), shower the side dish (potatoes) did not come out. After complaining to the waiter and host (somewhat manager), the side portion of the dinners finally came out 10 minutes later. Long story short, a couple appetizers were good, service stunk, the dinners were 1/5, and the owner ended up taking 3/6 dinners and a round of drinks off the bill. Unfortunately the owner, who was obviously aware of our discontent, never stopped at our table or said a word to us. Sorry "Pete", but you lost all of our business forever and we are couple that go out regularly.

After waiting 2 hours for the food to come out, the first came out, however was cold and inedible (shrimp dinner). About 15 minutes later 3 (1-eggplant and 2 steaks) dinners came out. The eggplant dinner was inedible and no side dish came. 1 steak was okay. The other steak was supposed to be medium rare, however came out like a piece of leather. About 10minutes later a burger came out, which was decent, however it took 25 minutes longer to get the fries.after another 10 minutes later the final dinner came out (chicken), however like many of the other dinners, came out with out the sides (potatoes). After speaking to the host, 3 dinners and a round of drinks was comp’ed. Service was poor and it took forever to get drinks & we had to find our own forks and napkins. The host spoke to the owner, however did not have the decency to speak to us at our table. Very disappointing and we will never go back.

Horrible service. Appetizer took forever & arrived cold and with no sauce! The waiter then went for plates which took another 5 minutes! To say the least we paid for our drinks & appetizer, then left. We've been customers of Pete's for years but we're about done now.

Cute little hole in the wall type of place. The food was okay but not special. It was a good place to meet friends to catch up.Parking: We came the wrong direction and thought there was no parking, but once we drove to the correct side, we saw the parking lot in the back. The restaurant is on a corner.

This is a great old time bar and restaurant, you meet fabulous people there, the service on Sundays is horrible we will changing our day to Saturdays. I don't think Nancy realizes having a smile, personality and giving great service equals a great tip.....everyone we talk to at the bar has the same sentiment....

Last night was the first time four of us ate there. It was an amazing experience in every way. Great service, great food and unbelievably reasonable prices! The place has an old time neighborhood bar feel, so we weren't expecting the food to be as good as it was. Everything was so fresh! My salmon was probably the best I've ever had. All of us were raving about how good our apps and main courses were. We were also suprised to see so many unique items on the menu and really had to do double takes at how low the prices were! Actually wondering if telling people how great this place is may be a mistake, because we don't want to have to wait for a table when we go back :)

Absolutely fabulous!! This Steakhouse is sure to please!! After reviewing the menu prior to going there, I thought, how good could the food be at those prices? To my pleasant surprise, it was delicious! Everything we ate, from appetizers to espresso martini, with some amazing entrees in between, was fit for a king! My friends and I were quite satisfied with the quality of the food and the unique preparation. The atmosphere is charming. It has an old time, neighborhood tavern feel. Our server aimed to please! She was personable and friendly and conscientious! The owners are delightful! We could tell, they truly cared about our dining experience. They put a lot of love into this restaurant and their guest's experience. I would highly recommend Pete's Steakhouse to anyone looking for a great dining experience whether alone or with family and friends!
