Amazing food. We've eaten breakfast and lunch here many times and NEVER disappointed. Best of everything. Perfect fries, best soups anywhere. I have a rule to get the soup of the day and I've never been sad. Stuffed Cabbage Soup is a two-time contest winner. Garlic Soup (really) was a very pleasant surprise. Coming here is never a mistake. Our breakfast experience was just ok. Nothing memorable. No unique items on the menu. Typical diner flair. My omelet was super bland. It was the Mexican omelet but had no salsa, cheese was tasteless, and the jalapeños were mere green peppers. Friendly staff and owners. I wanted to like it a whole lot more, but it was rather bland.

This was our first visit to the Brookwood Café. It is absolutely amazing. We spoke to one of the owners and she was so kind enough to let us sample the soup. Food is excellent! So happy we found this little gem.

We wanted a local spot to get a good breakfast and found Brookwood Cafe had a consistently highest ratings on Yelp and other review platforms so we thought we would try it out. Great service. Nice size cafe with local artist works on the walls for sale. Great food. Fun variety on the menu for those that want pancakes, waffles, eggs or omelets, specials or any variety. Loved the eggs cooked to perfection. Loved the hash browns lightly deep fried like that of a master chef in a high end restaurant. Good coffee. Good raisin bread. And not too crowded in the seated. It was packed full every table. This is always a great indicator of the best place to grab breakfast. Loved it. Highly recommend it! We will be back next time we're passing through.

I recently ordered for pickup from Brookwood Cafe, and I was thoroughly impressed! The packaging was done perfectly, ensuring that everything stayed fresh and hot. When I got home, about 15 minutes later, I was delighted to find that my meal was piping hot, delicious, and as fresh as if I had dined in. The service was also very friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I had a wonderful breakfast, and I can confidently say that I've found a great breakfast spot here in central Jersey. I'll definitely be recommending Brookwood Cafe to friends and family. In fact, I'm looking forward to visiting in person next time, as I'm sure the experience will be just as fantastic. I've stopped in here a few times with my partner and teen for breakfast. It's a simple little place for breakfast or lunch doesn't try to add a lot of frills. The place is typically busy whenever we've gone, which I don't prefer, but is indicative of the quality in this case.While my partner has only ever ordered the fish and chips, I try something new more often than not. Everything from the above mentioned fish and chips, to the burgers, to the eggs, to their chicken and waffles have all been delicious so far, and I look forward to slowly exploring the rest of the menu.

The French Toast Croissant was delicious! It looks like it would be rich and filling, but it was light and not too sweet.
Had an issue with my order, but Jeff called and corrected it. He even offered to drop missing chicken off. Caesar salad was fresh and would order it again.

We love it here! My husband and I go every Sunday and it's our favorite place to take our out of town friends for breakfast or lunch whenever we can. Food is always fresh and delicious and all the staff are so lovely and accommodating. An amazing local business, definitely stop by!
