The Stone Terrace by John Henry's

Our first visit to Stone Terrace was a good one. The calamari was excellent. Our entrees were generous portions and very well prepared (crabcakes and the snapper over risotto). We had an excellent bottle of Barolo that was fairly priced. For the overall value, we will definitely return.

All the food was very good, but the Caprese tomato salad and the Fish and Chips were particularly outstanding. The cod was cooked to a perfection of moistness and the fries were nicely well done. The ice cream came in a huge portion that probably put pounds on each of us! The server Kelly deserves a special mention for recommending a great IPA and more generally for her prompt and pleasant checking of how we were doing. All in all an excellent neighborhood gem; we'll be back often.

Very disappointed that we couldn't have a Bloody Mary. Strange to run out of Bloody Mary mix at a seafood restaurant. I've been going here for many years. Since back in the day in Chambersburg!

Great food, service, and the whole team were absolutely professional. Really impressed with this venue. Would recommend to others for their wedding or special events.

I attended the most beautiful wedding last night at the Stone Terrace! Everything was done to perfection! Most of the staff seemed to be young, and I was blown away about how attentive they were. They were on top of every little detail, from serving hors d'oeuvres, to cleaning up tables, to refilling your water glasses, without even asking. I've never seen such a group of people work so hard and so efficiently. Everyone did a phenomenal job! The venue is absolutely stunning, as well as the outside patio, and where the ceremony was held. I've never been there before and didn't realize how much property and beautiful landscaping they have. If you are looking for a large venue in the Hamilton, NJ area, I highly recommend the Stone Terrace!

For our 1 year wedding anniversary we went to the BAPS and grounds for sculpture and decided to end our day somewhere special that would end off the perfect day. Because it’s a resturant combined with a wedding hall that offered both seafood and steak options with rave reviews it was the first reliable choice we decided upon. My husband had a reservation stating everything pertaining to our special day. We went to the hosts stand and after asking for our name asked why are we here tonight.. after telling him he assured us that we’d be taken care of. After being seating the hostess asked the same question. Why are we here tonight? After telling her it was our one year wedding anniversary it was if she wasn’t even phased and went through the specials and asked for our order. Drinks were stiff but enjoyable. Staff refilled our bread but couldn’t be bothered to refill our water. Ordered Oysters to start, the cocktail sauce tasted like marinara. Porter house special was tough but the seafood pasta fra Diablo was good. After 1.5 hour dining and not a single congratulations we decided to get the check as soon as we could and go about our way. A standard dining out experience but not at all what we were expecting for a celebratory occasion. I swear it’s as if a veil lifted because of how dark and dreary it was inside vs the beautiful summer sky once we left. Thanks for the dinner but safe to say we won’t be returning and don’t recommend especially if you want to celebrate a milestone.

My husband and I had a lovely evening on Thursday, July 31st, 2025. It was our 49th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Compliments to the Chef! He or she is a definite keeper to Stone Terrace.❤️ Will (our table server) was great! He has a great personality! He was friendly and made you feel like you're just as special as the next table. Anthony, we briefly dealt with, but he was very courteous and efficient in making sure the tables had their water, salt/pepper, and anything else that was needed. A very nice and polite young man. Then we met Luca 🙂 He, too, was a very nice young man making sure we received our bread timely. Luca had a bubbly personality, very pleasant, engaging in conversation, and just pleasant all around. His Mom and Dad should be proud of him because he appeared to be a well-rounded and just an overall nice guy. Best of luck in junior year at school, Luca. Stay true to yourself, and you'll go far. Sorry, my review is lengthy, but I felt that everyone involved in our wonderful evening should be complimented for doing a great job. A business will always run smoothly, better, and more efficiently, especially when you have great workers who make that possible. We try to go to John Henry's every couple of weeks; we have NEVER had a bad meal and the service is always exceptional. Definitely one of our favorites!

Our party of six were all very pleased with our meals and the service. The only slight hitch was finding beets in the chopped antipasto salad which changed the taste of the salad. Next time we'll ask for no beets!!

I dined at the Stone Terrace for Valentine's Day last year. They were overbooked and the food was meh. We dined this past weekend on a Sunday. They weren't busy. This was a spectacular experience. The drinks were on point. Had crab cock ice cold and fresh. Cesar salad creamy and delicious. Halibut special for dinner was a home run!! One of the best pieces of Halibut I've had in my life. We will be back! We will be recommending. Thank you!!!

We had a milestone birthday dinner here very recently. Everything was done to perfection, including how beautifully the room was set when we arrived. Our dinner guests loved the food, service, and presentation. Throughout the planning process leading to the event itself, Joelynn and Cathy could not have been more helpful and reassuring.
