The drinks were good, the food amazing and our server was great. My recommendation if you are not a golfer is to get a seat at least near the bar to avoid some of the shouted conversations about how well all the golfers did.

The tavern is in a beautiful setting---you look out the large windows onto the luscious green of the golf course with trees beyond it. Unfortunately, the food was barely passing and our server was terrible. She seemed very young---maybe even still in her teens---and very inexperienced, as if she were an employee's daughter who was just jimmied into the position. A few examples---she brought out the wrong pasta with my dish (penne instead of linguine), and when I told her...

so pleasantly surprised by the food. We had appetizers and entrees and all the food was delicious. It is a beautiful setting right on the golf course and I wish it had been a warmer night to sit outside.
