Very atmospheric place, however few points to note: - waiters don’t pay much attention to what you request and slower than you’d expect from Bistro - chicken schnitzel is a sandwich!!! not a schnitzel itself; careful, don’t let them trick you😆 picture attached - alcohol is served after 12pm only, so if you’re like me planning to brunch there at 11, they won’t bring you any drinks

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our recent visit to Charley’s was truly disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was incredibly slow and inattentive. We waited over 20 minutes for drinks that never arrived. When we asked about them, we were told they were out of several ingredients — which turned out to be the case for many cocktails and dishes on the menu.
It’s hard to enjoy a night out when basic service expectations aren’t met. Between the lack of available drinks and the disorganized staff, it felt like they weren’t prepared to serve guests at all. Sadly, we won’t be returning, and I’d recommend skipping this place until they make some serious improvements.
****Updated to respond to the Owners outright lie.*** I’m sorry you cannot handle a crowd; the restaurant was not even busy. We were there for the game as well. Our food did not come out in 17 minutes because we left the restaurant and let the server know after we waited for 23 minutes for drinks that never even came. Be an honest, transparent owner and don’t lie on a review. I don’t give this restaurant a year to survive if the owner has to fabricate on a review.

This is my go to place for drinks(cocktails) when I’m here in New Jersey. We always stay at Hampton inn so it’s just a 15 min walk. Best cocktails in the area and happy hour offerings.
