Eleazar Steakhouse is known for its pretty damn good steak, crafted by a James Beard award-winning chef. The chef/owner runs the show solo during mornings, serving perfectly cooked cowboy cuts and rich Mac n cheese. The Harrison burger and truffle fries are absolutely delicious, according to customers. Portion sizes are generous, featuring an absolute unit of a burger for less than 10 bucks. The blue cheese salad is top-notch. The Porter House Steak was fantastic, cooked to perfection along with the asparagus and sweet potato fries, and its large size can easily be split among three people. Customers can bring their own bottle of wine, sangria, or beer if they prefer, as the restaurant doesn’t offer liquor. Desserts like tiramisu, cheesecake, and chocolate mousse come highly recommended. The restaurant is clean, and the customer service has been noted as good, with accommodating waitstaff. However, there is a suggestion that pickup could be improved by asking customers to park outside in the yellow stripes and then move to a better spot, as parking is limited. The restaurant offers quality meat at a reasonable price. During weekday lunch hours, parking is generally manageable, though nights and weekends may present challenges. While the food, like the cowboy steak, is typically very good, there was a negative experience reported with the carbonara, which contained bacon despite being told otherwise. Overall, the food has received praise, with many describing the steaks as melting in the mouth, and customer service could still be improved to ensure guests return.
