Love this place.. the owner Anthony is a great guy and knows how to make everyone feel welcomed. Bartenders are great to shoot the shit with and it’s a nice treat when they have special guest DJ’s spinning great music to vibe to! Always a great night when I swing through.. but go find out for yourself!

I come often. The bartenders they employ are always great. It's a dark, dive looking bar with sometimes overly loud music but i find most times a great destination for a drink and food even when you would think it may be too much or not enough. The fries in particular are really executed well. I enjoy the burgers a lot. I think the service I would most like to see provided by the Green Room is changing up their menu or rotating it , offering specials or something. Bello's is another bar just south advertised as a gastro pub and they get a great amount of business. I think Green Room has the traffic, the visibility and the reputation that should they take an even greater food centered approach they may reap dividends. I know a ton of the crowd I see seem like they would order more food to me. Either way, when you order you'll get a neat dining setup with real plates, at least that tops and airport bar giving me plastic utensils and Styrofoam my food served in by a huge amount. visit Green Room and meet some Real Folks!

This establishment serves as an excellent community bar and restaurant, attracting a significant number of returning customers. Occasionally, it hosts an enjoyable fan club that supports the Red Bull soccer team. Every item on the menu is outstanding, with many patrons favoring the chicken wings or tacos. Personally, I am particularly fond of the cheese steak sandwich made with prime steak in Portuguese bread or a great burger on a brioche bun. Additionally, there are appetizers and a variety of other options available. It is a delightful and welcoming venue for drinks and socializing. I highly recommend it.

If you're looking for something to eat in downtown Newark after 10 pm, this may your best choice. That was our mission last night after catching Rick Springfield and his bank rocking NJ PAC. And who was hungriest of all of us? The man himself, still after Jesse's girl, 45 years on.
Food was good: tacos excellent, cheesesteak, quesadilla, pizza all good. For a dive bar still serving food til 1:30am, the Greenroom totally works.

We came to watch the Red Bulls vs DC United and came to this spot to have some pre game beers. 100% worth the walk. They also have decent comfort food menu. The empanadas were straight up fire! 100% recommend if you’re in the area to watch the game.

Be it old fashioned, negroni, manhattan, or any drink - they ace it. I know it doesn't take a lot to make a good glass of common drinks but comparing with other bars, their drinks are tastier and very reasonable.

Drinks, service and vibes were great! If you're getting wings, I highly recommend the Buffalo wings! We got the garlic parmesan wings alongside. The 3 of us were not a fan. Therefore we went for round 2 of the Buffalo wings. They slap 🤤
