Damn I really liked Harrison Bagels and was surprised to see that the owner cannot take criticism and instead has to be verbally abusive .. Anyway pay your bills bro and Hopefully you will be more humble .. Try Wonder Bagels they have multiple locations and the hours of operation are consistent.

Just left this place and the guy at the counter was extremely rude. My friend and I (both people of color) walked in and immediately realized the guy had an attitude. We asked him for a cinnamon raisin bagel and he rudely said “no we’re out. I then asked what he had left and he just pointed at a piece of paper with bagel flavors listed and raisin was still on the list and two raisin bagels were in the bin. He asked if we needed more time, didn’t wait for a response and politely helped the white customer who just came in. I was so disgusted we just left out. If you can avoid this racist bagel shop do so by all means!!Update…. Clearly the owner is just as big of a racist as his employees are. I’m not complaining about the fact that you were out of a certain bagel. That would be asinine. I’m upset at the inequality of service presented to me and my friend (both African American) versus a white customer who was in your establishment. If you don’t take these complaints seriously, I’m glad I will never step foot in your establishment again as it seem like you have poor business practices! Also if you want receipts that I’ve been to your racist shop before I have them. Dont believe about today, check you camera at around 20 mins prior to the posting you will see that’s when we were there and walked out with nothing. Only black people in your establishment at the time so shouldn’t be hard to point out.

RACIST PEOPLE! I would never eat here again! Waited 35 minutes for my food and I asked can they check how long it would take “ the boy with glasses, yellow shirt and Yankees 47 baseball cap said “no you can just cancel it”. Very unprofessional and rude customer Service! I then saw another employee come out and ask him can I speak to the manager he insisted he was the manager. I told him that his employee is very rude and he said okay and looked away from me. I am an African American female they did not acknowledge me (look at me) or apologize for the rude customer Service. I will never go back there just terrible customer service!

came here randomly just off the PATH train. i’m loyal to my hometown spot but this is easily one of the best pork roll sandwiches i’ve ever had

Edit: added response to owner - Your advertised hours at the shop or online (google maps) DO NOT REFLECT WHEN SHOP IS ACTUALLY OPEN. I live in the area and have been a customer literally since the opening. I truly enjoyed the food and, especially the coffee. However, there is clearly management issue, particularly with sticking to the schedule.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The place is open when they choose to. Have been a customer for few years. Shop has really hard times sticking to advertised schedule, closing it on random days on regular basis. Like today - closed on Monday.Food is really good, sometimes they can mess up your order, particularly when you customize it (ex.: ask for no cheese)

The food is alright. It’s amazing by NJ standards. NY is just too close for their standards to not apply. What frustrates me the most about this place is - they are open half the time I try to go there. Can you just be open consistently? One more thing is they always put cheese in your bagel even if you ask not to. So now on I just ask for less disgusting kind. Because if you ask not to put any cheese, they give you American. And that makes me send sandwich straight to trash. Sorry american foodies.

They make a good bagel and a good variety of cream cheese toppings. My personal favorite is spicy veggi cream cheese.Its worth a trip there.

Huge drop in quality over the years and big price increases. Also read how the owner has been responding to customer feedback.This place USED to be the BEST place for a pork roll egg and cheese by a long shot when it first opened. It’s been around a year since our last visit and we were shocked to see how much the price went up and the sandwich tasted mediocre at best.Based on the way the owner responds to other people’s reviews that are fewer than 5 stars, it doesn’t seem like the owner cares about customer satisfaction. Disappointing to see.

Wow I was looking for a place to order bagels in the area and I always read reviews to try and get a idea. Just by their “clown” response emoji let’s me know not to visit an establishment that responds to their customer’s valid concerns about their order in a way. That is true ??? behavior. Bad business dealings and shows true unprofessionals.Edit: see the responses to their customers, as stated, real clown behavior from people that clearly aren’t intelligent enough to get bagel orders correct, shocking. Actually, it’s not ?! keep up because you have no idea who you are dealing with and this small establishment who already isn’t true to their hours, respectful to their customers and too d*** to get orders right on their small menu won’t be open too much longer.

DO NOT GO HERE! THEY CANT DO SIMPLE ORDERS AND IT WILL BE WRONG!!!!!!My partner and I entered the establishment on 7/2/22 at 13:08 hours and ordered two breakfast sandwiches . We waited in the establishment for our order to be made and upon receiving the order realized that there were no condiments on it one of the condiments being spicy Mayo which was for a additional cost which inconvenienced us to enter back into the establishment to request for the condiments which was given so we can apply on our own.Upon starting to indulge on our orders we then realized that our sandwiches did not have any American cheese on them which was how the order was placed . We then had to go back to the establishment for the doors to be locked at 13:30 ( mind you they are technically open until 15:00) and wait for the employee to open the door to then advise that our order was incorrect and missing a item . The employee then took our sandwiches and closed the door and locked it and left us outside in the heat and returned back five minutes later and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience that was caused us twice to return back to the establishment to then receive the sandwiches with a cold slice of American cheese thrown on it.At this point the sandwiches should have been re-made as by the time we received our order in completion it was 13:40 . I've been here before and decided to bring my partner to try since I was raving about it and never had a issue and we were the last customers to place a order before "closing" the doors and it was a simple order and should not have been made wrong twice .I don't usually complain but my partner and I will mostly likely not return to this establishment because of the lack of acknowledgment from the employee and not offering to remake our order so we can have it the quality and standards of how the restaurant supposedly represents!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!Also I contacted the establishment that day and it has been a WEEK and still no response . Unprofessional.

I called to pick up an order.. 9:20am… I got there early to make my coffee that I ordered while waiting a walking customer comes and orders 3 sandwiches… they get their order before I do. All I ordered was an omelette and the iced coffee. Terrible. Will not go back seems like they had a change of owns. Don’t go here. The omelette was also gross.

The decor is beautiful. The counterperson/owner Renè is very rude and his energy was extremely uninviting. He had no regard for my time or patience and in fact I feel like he had no regard for me as a person. He tended to other patrons knowing the order I was there to pickup sat on the counter. He brushed of my feedback about is attitude as if it were insignificant. Although he had no idea how long I’d been waiting, he showed no interest in getting me out promptly. Instead he purposely catered to other people with kindness and forced me to wait another 5mins on top of the 20 I had already waited just to add napkins to my order.

Best everything bagel I've had. It's my go to bagel when trying new places and they have a great everything bagel. Parking can be annoying but worth it.
