The Loaf Of Bread
Visited while going to New York. This place went above and beyond on everything. The place looks small when going inside but once you’re in it’s decorated very fashionably and clean. Service was friendly, quick and responsive. The food was absolutely delicious. Starting off with the calamari it was fresh and super tender. Our main dishes were impeccable, from taste to plating no complaints. Highly recommend this restaurant a must try if in the area.

This is an old school spot, with old school charm. Something right out of central casting for 1950's movie. The food was great! We had Beef Carpaccio and a Capreses salad, they served the balsamic and olive oil on the side. Both appetizers were very well done. For entrees we had the tortellini de Nonna and the pompano special. The tortellini were so creamy and good. The pompano was maybe a little over done, crispy on pan sear, and near the tail crunchy, still tasty and served with broccoli rabe that was cooked very well, not crunchy and not mushy as it can get if you cook it a min to long. Dessert we split was the strawberry and banana creapes they were spectacular. Our server was great too.

Definitely lived up to the hype , eggplant rollatini was cooked so perfectly, the filling was just the right consistency, chicken parm and spaghetti was amazing and the side of penne vodka was great , staff was as attentive as can be , and atmosphere was just how i like it as opposed to the big chain restaurants, definitely worth checking outParking: It’s tight but it’s also New Jersey where it’s packed
Seafood was really tough.Also they have lunch menu and dinner menu, and it’s almost the same, but price is so different!My friend ordered coke and waiter forgot about it.Bar menu is only for bar, and different is so much if you are going to take it at the table.It wasn’t nice experience and our waiter didn’t ask about it at all. I wanted to tell that everything was awful, but he didn’t ask.Restroom has a really bad smell.That bread that was in the beginning like appetizers was really good. And that’s why I put 2 stars.

This place is really nice, the service is impeccable. Walked in on a late Saturday afternoon not really expecting much and to my surprise it was very, very good. Had the chicken piccata, which was perfect. I would not hesitate in returning.
