I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at Leña y Carbón. My fiancée ordered food from here, and she received undercooked chicken, which is a serious food safety issue and completely unacceptable.
On top of that, I specifically asked about pork due to religious reasons and was told that they don’t serve pork. It was later discovered that the restaurant does, in fact, have pork on the menu. Whether it was a misunderstanding or not, it left us feeling misled and unsafe about what we were eating.
Between the undercooked chicken and the inaccurate information about the menu, I don’t feel comfortable ordering from here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others—especially anyone with dietary or religious restrictions.

Awful service. As I post this, I had my last beer 15 minutes ago, and I am being completely ignored. I believe it has to do with the system they have set up. Bartender is eating & no one is replacing her to attend to me. Only because she was my original service.

My food was terrible I preferred Jalea which is a variety of seafoods in one dish, however I got a pan of calamari and about 4 shrimp. I love this place but this was an overall bad experience down to the service and the food!

The picture on the menu tallarinas verde has a bug like roach in it. My wife and I never ordered from here but looking through the menu we saw that. Just a bad start.

Terrible place to order from!! The owner was so rude to me when I ordered delivery!! They said the car wasn’t working and they couldn’t deliver, so I asked for a refund and he said no! He was so mean and yelling at us when we just wanted our money back! We had to call back three times just to even have him speak to us! Had to dispute the money from my card to get a refund! Terrible customer service, wouldn’t recommend ordering from here!!

I used to live their food until yesterday our food had a roach in it, on top of that the chicken was extremely salty, which was ordered for kids. The entire dinner went to the trash. Super disgusting!
We ordered from GrubHub. The food was disgusting. It tasted old and smelled like gasoline. It gave us food poisoning. Never again

Today is the first time my wife and I tried the food at Leña y Carbón. We sat in a booth and instantly received attention from the staff with pleasant interaction. The food was truly amazing from the frozen drinks to the choices of food. Leña y Carbón will now become part of my wife and I monthly date plans…Also the best chicken I’ve ever had from a restaurant.
