I remember my grandma sending me there pulling my wagon. Knock on side door and ask for so and so. Can’t remember the name but he filled the wagon with dough to bring home. Best bread around. Stopped recently and was sad to see retail store closed. Back in the 70’s the line went down the block every Sunday morning

Great bakery. You have to go early in the morning to get the bread you want or you risk the shelves being mostly empty andand that’s because their bread too so fresh and great tasting. I’ve being going here for 26 years (all my life). The only trouble is parking and leaving the place because some of the roads are one way. Unless you leave in town you can get confused with the roads.

BEST RUSSIAN RYE BREAD, ever have Russian rye bread from ShopRite? Pechters supplies it, @8 slices for @ $4 at SR, at the bakery it's@ $6-8 for a whole loaf, weighs @ 4lbs, @ 16-18"L x 12"w x 4-6" h. Oval shaped. Slice it longways and you'll probably get 20 or more slices out of it. They do slice it at time of purchase If you want. THE BEST, everything in the store is really great, can even get a cup of coffee there. Things sell out quickly sometimes, LOVE this place!
