Thus review is for el hornero 2.With 4 people we spent $84 ordered 2 chickens and 1 soup. Chicken was dry, flavorless and it felt as if it was reheated in the microwave rather than freshly made. No mayo which is what gives it flavor and terrible customer service. Extremely disappointed. Not to mention the place looks so outdated, dirty and old.I prefer to go to the one in Kearny. There use to be a good Ecuadorian restaurant there and they always kept it beautiful.

Don't waste your money. Go to a real restaurant.

Worst… I understand COVID raised some prices but Daam. I ordered a lomo for $18 that can barley feed one person. Then medio pollo for $13 with no sauces. Bro I am going back to La Granja..
Feeling ripped off . I Ordered half of chicken and 1 Inca cola can . Went to pay and it was $20 . The can of soda was $4 !!! Chicken $13 , and mandatory tip $3 . I have never paid $4 for a small can of Inca cola , I only ordered 1 can. I’m not coming back to this place . First time here and last time . Stay away . This is for the Hornero #2 on harrison . Feeling very disappointed .

This Ecuadorian restaurant had great food. So sorry to hear that Rodrigo, the owner of the restaurant, passed away. Like Stephanie said he treated everyone like family. I have been going there for 20 years and my heart aches for his loss. He was a loving man and genuine. May he Rest in Peace! May God bless his family. :-( Be safe everyone.
BEST ECUADORIAN RESTAURANT IN NEW JERSEY. AND THE BEST CHEF RODRIGO TOVAR. HE WILL NEVER SEE YOU AS A
This restaurant has awesome service as well as delicious menu. My favourite place in the city. The food came out rapidly and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely recommend this spot.
Absolutely a spot worth visiting, the food is fantastic and fresh, the pricing is affordable and it is consistently neat here. 5 stars.
