My husband and I and our cousin and her husband had dinner here the first Friday night in December. Though there was a holiday party, we were able to be seated right away without reservations. Our server was kind and attentive. He made great food and drink suggestions. The rum punch was premixed but tasty. The atmosphere was quaint and intimate. I ordered a white fish in a wine sauce, yellow rice and mixed veggies (carrots, green beans and broccoli). We walked from our hotel (Hampton Inn & Suites) which was about a five minute walk. The route was well lit and safe.

I was here on a work trip back in March and came back tonight. It’s only a couple hundred yards from the Hampton Inn where I am staying. Pictures of the entrance from the street, the bar area, and the dining room area are attached . I had the Paella Mariscos with Sangria (pictures attached), there is more seafood than rice. It has shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, and calamari!! I will have more work trips to the area and will definitely come back here.

Customer service from the moment you open the door is top notch!! The food was off the charts, can't wait until I'm back in the area again!!

Went in for some late snacks after a long day and before an extended trip to Brazil (Hotel and this restaurant are not all that far to EWR airport).....Food was actually very good. Old guy, Portuguese waiter was friendly enough when we came in, but the bartender / waiter that took over after him.....Sheeeesh! So damned unfriendly, didn't crack a smile, didn't even attempt some lite BS with us, his esteemed patrons.....Made an otherwise tasty meal a bit of a disappointment....Guy could use some classes at a charm school (unless he's only like this with non-regular clientele)....Suggestion: Go across the river to Newark's Ironbound for great food choices and with waiters that make you feel welcome, e-s-p-e-c-i-a-l-l-y during these Covid times

The Spanish Pavilion is great, the staff are super friendly, the owner is a great guy, and most importantly the food is amazing. The paella was the best I ever had. The sangria was great, and the music they were playing, ( 70's rock ) was great. All in all a great time, go here and support them.

I wish I could give this place zero stars... the owner is rude, service sucked and the food was terrible. A male employee actually hit in my wife while we were there, I am not the jealous type of person but on top of everything else. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Food sucked ,service sucked ,and the owner is very rude and unaccommodating. Save your self the time and money and go to the iron bound or Belleville for better options solar do Minho is very good. Went home still hungry feeling like I just got robbed

We ordered: swai fish fillet with boiled potatoes and veggies, chicken in garlic sauce with rice and beans, and the tostones. The food was super tasty. Tostones could have used a little more salt, but with the hot sauce they sent they were perfect. I would definitely try more. We did take out. Food is always better in store, but I still thought it was very tasty and prepared nice.
If you’re walking the high line in NYC and find you need a snack or full lunch. Drop in with yourself or the family and have a great original Spanish meal with great friendly service.

I had the garlic shrimp over rice with a side salad. It was delicious and we loved the crispy bread that came with our entrees. My sister had the skirt steak salad and we shared bites of each other’s entrees. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. Would definitely recommend eating there. Good value and nice staff.
