As a Queens native who moved to Jersey, finding a spot that feels like home is no easy task. But Bogies Hoagies has made the transition so much easier! Their sandwiches are absolutely incredible—packed with flavor, and they've got a style all their own. They even remind me of the legendary subs at Sal, Chris & Charlie’s in Astoria. What a great Deli! Size does matter for a sandwich and this place does not dissapoint!

This place changed hands some time ago and I hadn't been since the change occurred. The new owners seemed to keep the menu the same but the food was not as exceptional as it had been.
The sandwiches used to be much larger. The bread was baked on site. Now the sandwiches are the same size as you'd find anywhere else and the bread is from a commercial bakery.
