Puzo’s delivered 9 large pizzas steaming hot and exactly on time for my son’s 16th birthday on a rainy Sunday morning. They were delicious and his friends were all commenting how good the slices were. Thank you for the great food and service!!

Update from previous 4 star review...My family and I have enjoyed many meals at Puzo's, we have made this a common destination for all our family gatherings. But our latest visit has left us looking for somewhere else to go. We visited here the Saturday before Easter, family of 9. First, the service was sub-par. The waitress we had didn't seem to pay attention to our orders and it would take several attempts to get the orders for our table correct. And no, they were not busy. In fact, there was also a gentleman who was also helping her with drink orders and such. As our appetizers came out, only 4 of the 9 people had silverware, and it would take about 10 minutes before we would receive them. The appetizers were cold at this point but we let it go. Bread came to the table, but would be quickly gone while waiting for either our dinners or silverware. More bread would be brought to the table which at first seemed convenient but that would later prove otherwise. 3 of the meals were cold, but the people were just happy to have their food finally so again we let it go. The waitress did not check on us often, and took one of our glasses of drink for refill and didn't return with it for nearly 15 minutes. Several of us looked at each other and just chalked it up to bad service, but it would be once we got the check that we decided it was time to move on. After looking over the check, we realized how much they are nickel and diming their customers. Honestly if you can't afford to do business then don't be in business. They pass on everything to the customer. First, the credit card fee was ridiculous, $14. They charged $1.50 for a small cup of ranch dressing for one of the side salads, because of the size of our party we had to give 18%tip for service that deserves 5%, and all the extra bread that was brought to our table....that we did not request, came at a cost. What should have been $250 bill came out to $330 with added substitutions to meals but never accounted for items that were removed from the meal. How do you charge someone for mozzarella cheese on a sandwich because they don't want the provolone you offer on the menu? It was countless examples of this. Mind you the serving sizes are not that large to warrant the already premium prices they charge, the chicken added to pasta dishes is in no way close to what they charge, and in an economy where everything is increasing for no real reason, the greed of this restaurant was too evident. Yes, I'm aware every restaurant carries out some of these practices, but some of these add-ons are just too much to justify cost of doing business. In the end, the average plate and drink came out to $37 per person, and 4 of those people were kids ordering simple pasta plates, so the value was no where near close to the quality of what we received. So, as a family, we have decided we will reserve our next holiday meal somewhere else

One of the first restaurants I remember in my early life still has the same Mac and cheese taste that I have to compare everybody else to. Never better, only close. John is a cook who either still works in the back, or used to. He is short, and bald, and he is a person I consider family. The best bread, the best people, and the greatest restaurant in the world. If he sees this, its Jaden. Anyone who reads this, make sure to tell him I said hi.

Terrible customer service
Delicious! We were looking for a nice family Italian restaurant after a flight from South Carolina and we found the perfect place. James was so kind and made great recommendations. We had crab cakes and angel hair with vodka sauce and a personal pizza. The pizza sauce was very good and the crust was perfect. The crab cakes were scrumptious and very filling and the pasta with vodka sauce was amazing. What a nice place to enjoy a delicious meal!

A lot of pizza options in Hawthorne but this is definitely the best one. Consistency and friendly service. Reasonably priced as well.

Best pizza I've had in a long time, probably since the days of Ornella's Pizza in Fairfield! I highly recommend this place. You won't regret it.
