We had a 7:30 reservation however diners lingered after their checks arrived and they didn't leave. Owner was upset and embarrassed. However she brought us to the back by the kitchen entrance when I saw a room adjacent to the very noisy main dining room. It was a separate party room where it was quieter and we enjoyed dinner, uncrushed and relaxed. We brought our wine, waitress was friendly and checked on us often. Food was delicious. You can taste homemade through and through.We had mussels in red sauce, veal piccata, and soprano special. We passed on dessert, only 2 are homemade others are from vendor. Highly recommend, will be back.

Service was fast and efficient, food was great 5 different dinners and all agreed. Noise level was low, this is what we wanted. This group meets once a month and we have many things to discuss, we need a calm and quiet place to enjoy and Assaggini di Roma was perfect.

I was there for a post-funeral luncheon and the food was quite good for something served in chafing pans. Chicken was nice and juicy, eggplant was nice, the canoli was a beautiful finish for the meal.
Docking a star because the service was mid, the servers were complaining about seemingly the group of us overstaying or something on the other side of the wall. I thought it was tasteless in front of the grieving family. We all have the right to complain about things, but a business should at least find a more private employee area for that to go down.
Otherwise it was good. I bet the dinner service is even better than the catering!

Two of our meals were very good ... the balsamic chicken and the chicken Murphy. However, the chicken Assiginni was not good. The chicken was very dry. Very disappointing. Additionally, the bread was stale. My group are ‘bread people' and that was also very disappointing An Italian restaurant should not have stale bread, especially on a Saturday night....seriously. This restaurant was my birthday pick and I am the one who ordered the chicken Assiginni 😞

We had a large party and the few meals I sampled wasn't overally impressed, the homemade sausage was excellent though and enjoyed the meatball. My pasta and rate seemed over cooked and the rate was mushy. I prefer a more al dente.
Good food large menu selection and excellent service. They have accomodated our requests for a quick meal more than once. The pasta dishes came out very quickly, it was greatly appreciated.
