This place is truly a gem for anyone in the North Jersey area The chef makes his steaks to perfection his twice baked potato is phenomenal and the servers and ambiance are impeccable I recommend this steakhouse to anyone with family friends or loved ones Thank you Tara for your wonderful service and attentiveness 5 out of 5 stars!

Shrimp lobster scallop scampi was trash ! No flavor at all I must of put atleast half the salt bottle . I ordered a lemon drop with tequila istead of vodka she insisted it was tequila but Ikno the difference of vodka & tequila & usually it come ina martini glass I got a low ball glass ! As I’m looking around I notice we have bar glasses & everyone else has nice fancy glasses I asked the waitress why so & she said she just grabbed them & walked away very rude ! I watched her walk around & not give any attention at all it was the heavy set lady ! All the other waitress looked very much about there customers & ours treated us like we were not important iguess because we were minority she’s been avoiding us the whole time . So much more to say but I already wrote a paragraph! Lemme just say if you are of color go to Ruth Chris because they want my server just treated me I will never recommend to anyone ! My uncle had a steak that was verry good & that’s the only thing that was tasteful ! Service from out waitress was trash but went to let them know & they did nothing about it

We both chose the strip steak entree, which turned out to be very tender and tasty and served medium rare. At only $24, these steaks, we felt, were a bargain. The wines, at $10 glass, were good quality (J Lohr) for that price these days.
Atmosphere was a bit dreary, the tables lacking both flickering light or flowers. BUT - they did have tablecloths! (Isn’t it pathetic that today we celebrate a restaurant that doesn’t ask us to dine off the bare tabletop?)
There was some sort of background music that sounded like chanting too. It wasn’t loud enough to be obnoxious but it was puzzling.
But the quality of the steaks and wine and food generally were what we appreciated here, and the service was excellent too. So we give 5 stars for those things.

The service was awful. Our waitress brought our water to the table pretty quickly and then disappeared. Another couple was seated at the next table the same time we were seated. Their very friendly waiter immediately greeted them, took their drink order, and told them the specials. Their bread basket was immediately brought out. We waited 15 minutes for our waitress to come take out drink order, she never told us specials or brought a bread basket. We had to ask the hostess to get us our bread. We waited another 15 minutes for her to take our order. Another long wait to get our salads. The table next to us had already finished their salads and appetizers. Our waitress never brought our appetizer because she forgot to put the order in! Meanwhile all she was doing was moving from the kitchen to the bar, never even checking on our table.The food was mediocre . The creamed spinach had no flavor, the ny strip steak was ok but loaded with salt! We will not be returning to this restaurant. We expected a nicer experience and were completely disappointed.
The best meal I have had in a very long time! Fresh hot and very flavorful without overpowering the steak! My compliments to the chef.
