ryan is the goat. great with customers and overall a polite kid. he was also by himself before before i got to order so i understand if he had to handle a phone call who knows what it could’ve been or if it was an emergency. certain customers should just learn to be a teeny bit more patient. (also there was no couple there either)

After coming here for 30+ years I will never come back to this location. The manager Ryan, was rude, arrogant and disrespectful to a family waiting to be served. While I understand phone calls have to be taken, there was no apology given to the family for the wait and instead he was yelling at them. Super unprofessional and uncomfortable for the guests waiting. We just wound up leaving instead of ordering.

He always greets us with a smile, he gives us samples whenever we ask. He is a nice, talented person. We have even had them out for a party just a couple weeks ago. They consistently go above and beyond. I couldn’t recommend them more. Just please leave some chocolate fudge brownie for me.

The supposed manager Ryan of this location was on his cellphone while customers were waiting and when we said something he gave us attitude, said you just got up here, said are you serious or was that sarcastic. I’m the manager so I’m allowed to be on the phone. No apology no nothing. He claims he was talking to his boss but if it was the boss they would understand customers come first. Update: I’m being harassed by the owner to take this down when this experience actually happened and I’m not happy with how the owner or the employee handled the situation.

I wanted to shout out to their best employee there who always greets us with a smile, his name is Ryan and he goes above and beyond for us always. I’ve never seen the guy in a bad mood. They are quick to take your order and get your food out even with the constant line. A young man named ryan is always working and provides a great costumer service experience. Definitely recommend and will keep coming back!
I’ve been going to Ralph’s in Hazlet for years. We go after dinner on the weekends. Ryan always gives my kids a warm greeting and takes the time to help them pick out the perfect flavor (usually a mix). He provides outstanding customer service. Ryan is the absolute best and my kids look forward to seeing him. He keeps us coming back!

I love Ralph’s Italian Ices! This location has nice workers and outdoor sitting. My favorite sundae here is the hot fudge brownie sundae with Mississippi mud ice cream. It’s so DELICIOUS! My favorite cream ice flavors are pumpkin, chocolate chip cheesecake, peanut butter & jelly, and jelly ring. Their ices are a million times better than Rita’s! Their doughnados are amazing too! The best are the birthday cake and Reese’s pieces cookie dough. The menu here is extensive. I highly recommend Ralph’s Italian Ices in Hazlet!

Went to get ice cream with my kids around 8:05 pm. Was treated very well by the staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable of the ices. The ices were kept properly cold and were very refreshing. Will 100% be returning soon!

Highly disappointed when I arrived at 10:28 pm and the 3 girls working there were serving and speaking with a gentleman in front of me. Supposedly closing at 10:30 pm. When it was my turn, I was told they were closed!! Really, as they should there serving the man in front of me ice cream with the windows wide open! Not very good customer service ?!
