If you like really fatty bbq then this place is for you. The brisket and pulled pork were 80% fat and difficult to eat and enjoy. I would not recommend.

I seen all the 4 and 5 star reviews and figured this BBQ might be okay, but unfortunately my experience wasn't as good. Place is nice and service is good, but the food wasn't the BBQ I was expecting. I will say the pork roll nuggets were excellent and seasoned well, but the brisket and pulled pork were very dry. Our server tried to bring us some that he thought would be better, unfortunately the brisket was the same and the pulled pork just had cooking juice poured on it, but it was still the same dry meat. He did give us a discount on the meats, but I thought in reality it should have been taken off completely since he had seen we didn't eat any of it. The Brussels sprouts and collard greens were good, just not great. This restaurant has potential, but the BBQ has to get way better. As you can see from the bill, I paid quite a bit for food that I only ate half of.

Comedy night Tuesday- found out about this vpa Uncle Vinnies Comedy site - I love comedy and saw they were doing something locally in the Bayshore and had to go. Glad I did! Great night out!! every comedian was hilarious and the margaritas were amazing. The MC host Tim RRAGER was FaNOM - we will be back!! Comedy is 5 stars!

We are staying at the Holiday Inn and decided to eat here because of the convenience and the menu looked good. We were not disappointed! Our server Amanda was amazing. Literally the best. So sweet and helpful. The hostess and bartender were equally awesome. We were thinking of finding other restaurants to go to during our 3 days in Hazlet but the food here was so good and we only tried half the things we wanted to, we will definitely be back. And they have trivia and bingo! Food and service are 10/10!!Second night here and we came back again! The bingo and dad jokes were hilarious. Our son got to pick out the style of bingo of his choice one round and even got to tell his own jokes. The vibe of the crowd was awesome and everyone cheered for him. Some of the locals/regulars let him get their prize even tho he already won. Just an overall awesome atmosphere. I learned the names of the bartender, Gabriella, and the hostess/bingo caller and my sons personal favorite ms Terry Anne. We will come back to NJ and specifically this restaurant again.

The ribs were burnt there was hardly any meat more fat than there is anything if there's smoke they shouldn't be burnt like that I wasted my time and money going to this place the corn cornbread look like it came out of a sheet cake very small portion I was very disgusted with this place .. I would not waste my time going there the only good thing waitress... I was very disgusted with the food it's very small portions and very bad to the taste the only good thing was the patoto salad

Stopped in for lunch and got a half pound of brisket with spicy BBQ sauce. It was excellent. Very moist with great flavor. The BBQ was excellent as well. The hostess was very friendly.

Order bacon nuggets on Sunday evening and got just nuggets and then was told that how they come and I had them a few times and that not what I order the waitress kinda strug it off and act like that how they come and I told her and the receptionist it’s not had to wait another 15 20 min to bring me back the same nuggets and wasn’t even cook all the way I was really upset because I spend almost 50 dollars and I don’t live close and I really like they place u till that incident sad that all I wanted was a good meal and got everything but that..

The place looks decent. We went on weekdays, so it was not crowded. But the food was a big let down. My pulled chicken was very dry and flavorless. The sauces were decent but nothing to rave about. My son's fried chicken sandwich lacked flavor. Overall, there are many bbq places around that are far better.
Came to this place 3 times for briskets. They were nice and tender on my second visit (which is what gave me faith to do a third time) but dry and rough on 1st and 3rd.The texas twinkies on the other hand have always been good. But still, if you came here for briskets, you may have to do a little dice rolling.
