This place is a hidden gem! The birria tacos are the best you’ll have on the area. This is a cozy and quiet restaurant. Not too much traffic inside, but if you choose to sit in, it’s a quick order, pick a casual table and eat inside. They make the food very quick. The guy taking orders and also working in the kitchen said 12 mins for our order of 7 tacos. Pretty quick and staff is very nice. Also this doesn’t seem like the kind of restaurant to call and make an order/ or door dash. Best experience is to come inside and order to stay or take away! I saw other reviews staying no one knows when they are open. Doesn’t seem like there is a working phone, but the hours seem close to google hours except maybe opening an hour or two later or closing an hour to two early.also the prices are great! 3 big tacos $12 and 4 for $15. Very very filling. Anyways this is the secret spot for a fire taco night! Give it a try and you’ll see! Five stars!

I have been eating at Garden Burrito for about a year now since I moved to highland park, and for them to DRASTICALLY change their prices the way they did is INSANE. A major rip off, because the portions have remained the same, actually SMALLER and they're charging you up to $8 more on some plates. Its ridiculous. Yet there are ZERO improvements to the restaurant itself, the food? No new menu options, no improvements to the business whatsoever. Just greed. I purchased a few more times after the prices went up because I hoped that it would be worth it. It's not. And they have children working for them? So they're saving money on that too! Never coming here again. You want repeating customers to make your business flourish, not rip them off so they never come back again.

Very delicious birria tacos!!!! I got 4 tacos for $15 and they were pretty filling! I had to share with my boyfriend. It was absolutely delicious. I also got some flan and that was very good as well! Definitely would recommend checking this spot out!

The Birria is delicious. They give you a generous amount of meat and it’s flavorful. I ordered to go and they wrapped the Birria sauce container in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t spill which was nice.
