Really great and authentic Chinese food, a rare find in NJ! The decor inside is very nice and they’ve got really good Hunan dishes. Great for a proper sit down meal

My favorite restaurant in Edison and a restaurant that must be reported almost every week.
Recommended dishes:
Free-range chicken (a classic of Hunan cuisine, the chicken is delicious when killed alive), sizzling squid (not fishy at all, with the aroma of barbecue), dry-pot beef brisket (not too bad, not chewy, just the right texture), smoked bamboo shoots and beef rice noodles (freshly fried toppings, full of pot flavor, personally ranked first in the Edison rice noodle category)

Had high hopes for this place because I heard from friends in town that it was good. After being seated as the 2nd party in the nearly empty place, the waiter ignored my family of 4 for 25 minutes, and proceeded to take orders from 2 groups that came after us. Don't go here. Horrible service. I'm a local and I'll never go back. Plenty of other restaurants nearby that exercise normal civility.

Laopijiang’s live-killed chicken is delicious, and potherb mustard is also delicious.

The Hunan cuisine at this restaurant is very authentic. Whether it's the signature fish, braised pork, or marinated noodles, everything is delicious. The dishes are served quickly, and you can taste the freshness of the stir-fry. Additionally, the service and ambiance are both great, making this restaurant highly recommended.

We always forget to take pictures every time we come here, but as usual, you can see what we already ate. It's so yummy!?
Parking: They have a small, free parking lot right next to the restaurant. During busy hours, you may have to park on the street or at the public parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: On the first floor so wheelchair easy access
