stopped by this Akihi after strolling through the Farmers market last friday. I have a weekly thing with Akihi but I usually go to the Metuchen branch. So when I went in, i was not used to a small space since the other branches have enough room to move around, thankfully it was not busy so it was alright. They had board and card games to offer which is a plus, and also an outdoor seating.
I personally don't like strawberries so before ordering, I had asked the staff...

Please do not turn off your machines before your closing time. I wanted Bubble from you, even past two other places. I was not able to make it sooner, however it was before your official closing time.

The bubble tea, waffles, ambience, and general vibe are great. I just wish they had more space because I can totally see this place being a great hangout for students and young professionals alike.
