took my whole team to a disappointing lunch. I was really looking forward to trying this sushi place, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from start to finish. First, the service was incredibly slow. It took nearly 30 minutes for someone to even acknowledge our table, and then the food took forever to arrive. When it did, it was not fresh—some of the fish had an off taste and didn’t seem as though it had been properly stored. The rolls were poorly assembled and fell apart as soon as we picked them up.The restaurant itself was also not very clean, with sticky menus and a lack of attention to detail in the overall atmosphere. Considering the price, I was expecting a much higher quality of food and service.I won’t be coming back, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good sushi. Very disappointing.

Nope!!!! 👎🏻 I was really disappointed with my experience here. The sushi was far from fresh, and the rice was dry and crumbly. The service was incredibly slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, and the staff seemed uninterested in addressing our concerns. The ambiance felt neglected, with dirty tables and a strong fishy smell throughout the place. For the high prices they charge, I expected much better quality. I won’t be coming back.
Bad food and service. I dine in, but the dishes and the bowls they use to serve people are these plastic delivery containers. They serve my miso soup with a disposable paper cup and put right beside my tea, which is also served disposable paper cup. The containers they use to put my noodle are these plastic food box that use for delivery. I was unhappy about this service, so I didn't tip any amount. I left, but the server chased me even outside and asked me for tips. I didn't even want waste time to explain to her why I didn't give tips, anyway, I am not gonna come to this place anymore. Horrible experience.

Years back this was my go-to place for sushi, but since 2020 have only done the occasional takeout or delivery. The food quality deteriorated to the point where when I opened the two specialty rolls delivered tonight, the old fish ammonia type smell nearly knocked me & my dining companion off our chairs. We each took a cautious bite thinking maybe our sense of smell was somehow off, but ended up spitting the food out. $47 including delivery tip for inedible volcano roll and rainbow roll, and passable tempura appetizer. I would get after Midori to have the cost refunded, but I will never eat anything from here again. Be warned!

Honestly worst sushi spot I’ve ever seen. The restaurant itself looked dirty and the seats looked repurposed. Not to mention all the food comes out in to go containers as well as the soda that came in a hot coffee cup that disintegrated as I was sipping on my drink. Two tiny rolls of old sushi came out to 17$ that you could’ve gotten at ShopRite and better quality. Not to mention the waitress chased my friends and I outside as we were leaving for and extra two dollars on her tip… we left hungry and honestly disgusted.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. They did not have proper water glasses or dishes, and we were served in paper trays/baskets. The server was extremely rude, barely acknowledged us, and seemed unaware of what was happening. At one point, she spilled a paper dish on one of our friends, acted as if nothing happened, and simply said, "It's okay."
To top it off, we left a 20% tip, which apparently upset her. She came out of the restaurant, screaming at us, and told us not to dine in next time but to only get takeout orders.
This level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic service standards is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
We go to Midori in Piscataway and it was first time at this location. I would recommend the Piscataway location to everyone.

The sushi is amazing!! I was really impressed by the lunch special. The rolls have an actual, nice, fresh piece of fish in there and are super tasty!! Really fair price and you get a little miso soup. Definitely will be back
The side order of hibachi noodles have NO sauce! Who wants to eat plain egg noodles?? Think people think! Horrible experience using food delivery app.

Restaurant very inconsistent for delivery. One day they answer, next day unavailable. But they love charging your credit card.
