Best bagel I’ve had in a long time

The catering platters are offensively small.

Charming shop with by far the best bagels I've tried in NJ. They're soft but with the right amount of chew, and keep their softness longer than most bagels.
Parking: Street parking is a block away or more

We've had the pleasure of hosting two events with Mordys Kosher Bakery, and their service has been exceptional. The food is not only delicious but also incredibly fresh. Our employees eagerly anticipate our events just for the chance to enjoy Mordys' cuisine. Additionally, their pricing is reasonable, and they're very generous with portion sizes.

I order from Mordys bakery on Uber eats every Monday and Wednesday when I’m in my hazlet office. I am always on the lookout for good kosher food as it can be pretty hard to find. I absolutely LOVE this place. The food is phenomenal. Prices are sometimes unbelievably cheap especially with how crazy inflation is today. The bagels are exactly what you’d expect from a true kosher bakery. Thick, fluffy with the perfect toasted crunch. My absolute favorite is the cheese blitzes! Reminds me of my childhood for sure. I hope the staff reads this and knows how much I appreciate having them around! Always looking forward to my Mondays and Wednesdays now ❤️
Dietary restrictions: Authentic kosher bagels!

Rye bread review only —Yesterday made first visit here, as my preferred pastries (eg, croissants) and breads (eg, crusty baguettes and Italian) are not the stuff of kosher bakeries. But someone had recommended their rye bread, so as I was happening past, I decided to stop in and buy a loaf (2 lb. size only available).Full stop here - this is not rye bread according to any metric of which I’m aware. While the crust isn’t bad/soft, the bread is white-ish, bland, soft and tasteless. Was any rye grain actually used in its baking? Its odor is faintly oily and nothing at all like usual Jewish or Russian rye bread, with their inviting, earthy aroma and thicker texture and bite. If you put a better, actual crust on Wonder Bread, then this would be indistinguishable from it. (And they don’t even make a seeded version - the tipoff that this place doesn’t know real rye bread).
