The menu has mouthwatering variety. My mother and I both ordered the 4 petit lobster tails. They were fine with substituting baked potato for mashed and steamed broccoli for mixed veggies. The popcorn shrimp starter was good, but the lobster tails were INSANELY salty. Nearly inedible. The waitress tried to explain it away by saying that the drawn butter was salted. We love Bahrs! The food is always delish. We like sitting by the windows looking out over Sandy Hook and watching the boats.
My favorite is their broiled scallops. My dinner mate loves their seafood combo.

I had the crab cakes which contained finely shredded meat and minimal stuffing. They tasted good but I have had better. I prefer lumped crab meat instead of shredded because more of the crab flavor is tasted.
