The food is very good but service leaves something to be desired. It's a small space and very cramped and is extremely loud. Service is very slow. That said, the staff is very nice and accommodating. The delicious food and excellent quality keeps us coming back despite less than ideal volume in the main dining room

Fresh is a wonderful small restaurant tucked away in Highlands. Quite formal yet cozy and welcoming. I gave the atmosphere a 4 only because our table was very close to the kitchen entrance. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent. My appetizer was mussels arabiata in a spicy slightly red sauce which, when fortified with the mussel juice, was delicious on its own. Tonight we had dinner at Fresh in the Highlands, and all I can say is… wow.

This was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time.

Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the beet salad, octopus, shrimp appetizer, steak, sea bass, espresso, a latte, and yes… five desserts! Every single dish was outstanding.
