Went to have a small meeting of the minds for my business and decided to dine at Morgan's Island Grill. I must say, it was the best decision of the day. Great atmosphere and staff. Plates were plentiful and worth every penny spent. Food was delicious and we plan on returning very soon for our next business meeting. The owner is very personable and makes you feel like you're at home. So much food that we couldn't finish. Even ordered plates to go for the next day. If you are looking for Jamaican or Caribbean style cuisine, this is the place to be and they let you do combos, which is a plus. I had oxtails and jerk chicken. MMM MMM good.

I recently had food catered from Morgan’s Island Grill, and everything was fantastic! Working with Morgan was a wonderful experience. He was professional, accommodating, and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
We ordered fry chicken, curry chicken, oxtail, and curry goat, and every dish was full of flavor. The seasonings were on point, the meats were well cooked, and my guests enjoyed every bite. The curry dishes were rich and delicious, the fry chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the oxtail had great flavor that everyone loved.
Morgan also blessed us with a pan of complimentary cornbread, and it was absolutely delicious — moist, sweet, and a crowd favorite.
If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food paired with excellent customer service, I highly recommend Morgan’s Island Grill. I will definitely be using them again for future events!

Mr. Morgan consistently provides high quality food and treats everyone like family. I highly recommend the jerk chicken, curried goat and oxtail. For Thanksgiving we usually order either a whole turkey or a fried turkey breast and both have been exceptional. Check out Morgan's if you're looking for a meal for yourself/ your family or catering for an event! Morgans Island Grill is a local trip to a coastal destination. Upon entry, you are mentally transported to the beautiful island of Jamaica and cannot help but let your hair down, grab a bottle of Ting from the frig and order something unmistakably delectable from the full bodied menu.
I am partial to a few fish dishes and the Rasta Pasta. From time to time, I'll run in to pick up a veggie patty. This quells my craving for a bit and my next visit is usually something of larger proportion. The proprietor, Kenroy Morgan, is as genuine as the cuisine he offers his patrons. His love for his hometown, Jamaica, is felt from.the friendliness of the staff upon your arrival to the sweet tang of the jerk or pineapple infused dishes (should that be your particular flavor desire).
Do yourself and the ones you love (or like a little bit) a flavor favor and swing by Morgan's in Hightstown.
