My husband and I had a great time checking this place out (we traveled from Indiana). It's a nice little brewery with a lot of different brews that we enjoyed sampling while there. Even better that our last name is Hight and there was merchandise that we were able to buy with the name on it. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're visiting Hightstown.

So far been there twice, both times on a Friday. Few minutes walk from the game shop nearby, and I also noticed it's a bit hidden, behind some "man cave" or whatever. ANYWAY... First Friday of the month has acoustic karaoke which is very interesting but worth it, place is usually pretty packed and with all the wood fixtures, it was very loud but works for the environment. Food is only provided by outside sources but they sometimes host food trucks within stumbling distance. Have an outdoor fire pit but didn't get details about it. Anyway, they have a non-beer option for the gluten-free drinkers but only one flavor is a little... narrow. Hopefully they'll plan to expand it soon because "mango" isn't exactly a flavor most people would gravitate to. Drinkable for the time being but I would love to see other options.

We've been coming here regularly for Trivia nights the past 2+ years, and always enjoy our experience! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on the beer selections, while the drinks are often unique. I am not a beer drinker, but they offer alcoholic seltzers that are tasty. In the summer, their outdoor biergarten is a welcome treat, as it definitely provides more space to the smaller venue

Local brewer in the heart of Hightstown. Nice space with both inside and outside seating. Good selection of beers on tap. Very friendly staff and owners on location. Cans available for take out. Glad to have found Old Hights.

We don’t live that close so we only stop by a few times a year, but it’s always a good time and we always bring home a flat of beer. Husband loves an ESB and not many breweries make one so he makes of point of supporting Electric Shop.

I enjoy stopping at a craft brewery during the daytime. It is usually a nice relaxing experience. On a recent Saturday afternoon, my girlfriend and I stopped by this place for the first time. Looking up their beer menu online in advance, it looked like they had a great selection. We arrived at like 12:30 pm, and it wasn't too crowded yet. We were able to sit at a nice high top table to enjoy our drinks. We created our own beer flights, so we were able to try many of their different brews out. Our first flight consisted of an IPA, sour, wheat ale, and an oktoberfest brew. All of these selections were great. I especially enjoyed their Oktoberfest one, as that was my favorite if the first batch. After a little bit, we ordered a second round of different beers. This time, we went with the black IPA, double IPA, porter, and hazy pale ale. Again, all of these selections tasted great. Not a single bad brew. The dark brews were awesome, especially that porter. It was delicious to drink, that I ordered another separate glass of it. They have some outdoor seating as well, and had a food truck on site with some live music being played on this specific Saturday. Overall, this was a fun spot to hang out and have some beers at. We will be back as we enjoyed ourselves.

Great location and has very friendly patrons. The Pilsner is outstanding. Heads up to the owners. Don't talk down to your customers. We want to support you and see your success.
Driving into this place, you feel like you're transported onto an old timey movie set. A saloon would fit right in here. I'd recommend checking it out for this vibe alone. Especially in the summertime when you can sit outside at one of their several tables. The selection of beers however, left a bit to be desired. While they were by no means bad, they didn't stand out as exceptional either. The beers I tried were decent, none left a lasting impression. That being said, the atmosphere did make up for the lackluster beers. It's a kind of place where you can catch up with friends while trying a variety of beers and playing some games.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Despite its warehouse exterior, the inside is typical of a brewpub. It does a variety of beers but it’s best selections are on the dark side. The coconut porter is outstanding. Outside seating and music on occasion but no food which is typical for New Jersey brewpubs.

Beer is good. They have good variety of IPAs, Porter, Kolsch. Best things is they let you bring and deliver outside food. There are lot of good restaurants in the area.

We rented the loft at Old Hights for my mom's 60th birthday party and it was an absolute blast!! They allowed us to bring in catering, and they gave us ample time before the party to set up and decorate. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Everyone at the party loved the great beer and the good vibes! We love sitting outside and enjoying the live music. There are usually some games out, but we like to bring our own deck of cards. ? Hoping to make it out to Trivia night soon!!

Love the back area to sit outside. We tried the Czech, CnA and both are great beers. Plenty of food options nearby to order to bring in.
