This morning we ordered lunch and breakfast for my daughter since she had a long day before and after school with programs. We’ve been ordering since I was a kid in high school and absolutely love catered affair. Well a “gentleman” closes the door on my daughter while she was walking out with her box of food because he rushed in while she was trying to get out instead waiting for his turn or holding the door for her. The door knocked the box with the Salad out of the girls hand and all over the ground. Anyhow I cannot tell you how amazing the staff and owner handled the situation. I asked for another salad and was willing to pay for it. The owner told me don’t worry about it and chose to absorb the cost (although that gentleman should have). I was definitely a mom in my pjs not dressed properly to be running out. And I even went to go clean up the lettuce and he told me not to worry about it and told us to have a great day and sent us off with a new salad!! The kindness was really so awesome to experience in this age is so rare to see that old school customer service post Covid still and he could have technically charged us for a new salad!!! But I must say at catered affair we’ve never had a customer service issue and they always go above and beyond. Thank you, so much. I know it’s just Lettuce, but it’s more then lettuce it was the compassionate heart to serve a tired mom trying to get their kid off to school!! Thank you catered affair!!

Catered Affair is the best lunch spot in Hillsborough hands-down. I go here at least 4 times a week (usually 5) and it never disappoints. I wouldn’t be able to choose my favorite thing on the menu because everything I’ve tried has exceeded my expectations. I rarely write reviews but I feel so strongly that this place deserves the recognition. The service and employees make my day everyday - they recognize my voice from my phone order and greet me with a smile every time. Catered affair is truly incredible and is the reason I love supporting local businesses. Please try it if you haven’t already.

I absolutely love this place. Unfortunately, I live 1.5 hrs from this location otherwise I would be there every other day. When I am down in Hillsborough I always make sure to stop here to get the Italian Hero and stock up on the premade soups. So happy I found this gem. I look forward to trying the other sandwiches as well.

When you order by phone, have them repeat the order back to you. Ordered a chicken tenders and fries; fifteen minutes later was handed a chicken Caesar wrap. Food is good, but save yourself a half hour by making sure they have your order correct.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. One of my favorite things to get is their Letter R. It is fresh and delicious. Side note, I do wish it came with a pickle :) Everyone is very friendly that works here.

They shorted our delivery order and refused to have it delivered to us after waiting an hour.
Will never from them again and will tell everyone I can.
