If you're looking for healthy AND gourmet-level breakast, brunch or lunch, this is the place, bar none. Skip the chain juice bars and bowl joints and hit up Roots. Chef Michael Merida creates amazing combinations of perfectly prepared food and his friendly staff prepare them to exacting standards. Roots is mostly about takeout, but there's usually plenty of room to pull up a chair and have a bowl, smoothie or wrap.
Smoothies and juices are great but the sandwiches are consistently amazing. The KFC Wrap, Baja Burger and Roasted Chicken w/ Burrata sandwich are so good I'm shocked they don't sell out daily.
Everything I’ve had here has been SO good, and Lina is very sweet and accommodating. I’m so happy I found this place because they cater to my vegan dietary needs. Their lemon dressing is exceptional and so are their cookies, and the hanna banana shake for the kids menu.
