“Ahh taco bell. THE BEST late night stop. I was driving home from Rutgers and was SO hungry and taco bell always knows how to make me happy. Nacho fries are back and with it my spirit! I downed those like it was my last meal. But for real, does not feel great the next day, but taco bell late night is a life saver! Only complaint is they make you order, pay, and drive around again to get your order even though no one else is in line… weird. But it was still good!“

“Very delicious food. Stopped by in the evening looking for a quick bite. I ordered the shrimp tacos and the al pastor which are my two favorite types of tacos. Both tasted really great, however the al pastor had a much better flavor overall.
I also tried the chips and salsa. Chips tasted like they are fried in house (in a good way) I didn't love the salsa too much. The texture and flavor was a little off for me. Maybe there are beans blended in? Not worth docking a star for this because overall I really enjoyed my meal and will be back again.
Atmosphere is very nice as well. The decor is welcoming and the staff was really friendly as well.“

“We're local business owners in Springfield, NJ and just discovered Tierra Del Sol as a wonderful spot for lunch!

Friendly greeting when we walked in, quick table service and the food is fresh and very flavorful! We each had Quesadilla's de Carne Asada (Steak) - and the serving sizes were big, we each only ate half and too the rest home.

“Everything here is SO FRESH. I came here with my family of 5 and all of our dishes were extraordinary. Everything came out piping hot and very delicious. We ordered the guacamole, shrimp with garlic sauce, mixed fajitas, chicken burritos and breaded chicken and breaded fish filet. The hot, fresh churros with chocolate sauce at the end were absolutely melt-in-your-mouth divine. We would definitely come here again. 5 stars!“

“I live in the area and love trying out local restaurants, Taquerua La Casita did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, wel lit and busy. Its a small place, but small places tend to be masters of their craft. I got two orders of tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos de costilla (recommended by the employee working he counter). Both were great, fresh and bold flavors. The pastor came with a slice of pineapple on top which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce that came with the order. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks for the awesome food. I want to try every item on the menu 🙂“

“Food was great. Ordered a pork tamale which came out steaming and delicious. The Al-Pastor tacos were also excellent. I only deducted a star on the food since the serving size was a bit less than a full meal, but maybe I'm just a gavone? They give you three and they're decently sized. Flavor, service, everything was great no complaints. I recall the prices being decent as well.“

Everything was very fresh & obviously cooked for the order (not in advance ) Nachos & Guacamole are great starters. Just be patient because since everything is cooked on order, you have to wait a little more than usual. It's not bad service, it's worth waiting. Also another "nice touch", the menus are tablets, If you want Mexican you won't go wrong here.“

We’re on vacation and stumbled upon Tortas Lokas Elizabeth¡what a gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and Karen went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Great food, amazing service, and a cozy vibe.

“I grew up in Texas and enjoyed this authentic beef taco bowl for a casual and affordable dinner in Newark. The owner and staff clearly put their hearts into each ingredient in the bowl which comes together as a Tex-Mex festival of flavors.

Kid-friendliness: Saw a mother and daughter there. Lots of teenagers were eating there as well.“

“It’s funny that some of the reviews here complain about servers not speaking English...it’s an actual authentic Mexican restaurant what do you expect? The menus are in both English and Spanish and have descriptions if you are not familiar with Mexican food. I love this place and you really can’t beat the prices. The food is great and I always wind up taking some home (maybe because I fill up on all the chips and salsa they give before the meal).“

“I went to the up town one yesterday for happy hour. Emilio was great welcome to me right away. Let me know about the happy hour specials. Then I spoke with the owner. I congratulated her on the success of her business. Her husband and her opened this restaurant, and the one on 412 Broadway after many years of working at Hendricksons as a cook. It’s nice to see hard hard-working people become successful n keep their business local. Very inviting and friendly place. Great margaritas. Great ppl:) I also had the chorizo queso. Mr. C is always making sure we are happy with what he has prepared for us. Sometimes he will add his own little touch once he gets to know you and what you like.
