“The revamp of this location was to their benefit. Aesthetically, all fast food has gotten architecturally lazy, but this location benefits by feeling clean and roomy in the interior. There is ample parking, ample space to eat within, and Taco Bell has been quietly working to expand their menu and quality. This is a good example of a Taco Bell location, and if you've allocated enough time to have your order taken - you will find the experience pleasant enough. Baja Blast soda is tasty and because it cannot be easily found, its often worth getting the drink for the novelty.

I give a 5-star because of the aggregate of elements to the experience. It is not a perfect place, but for what Taco Bell is you will receive adequate service. and you won't be softlocked to a bidet. Ensure you aren't constantly eating garbage in your life and the high fiber in a Taco Bell meal will not put you through hell.“

Zee the Manager is a gem, friendly and provides the BEST customer service.

Their specialty are the birria tacos—you won’t be disappointed. Its a large serving and you’ll lick your fingers throughout.

We’re on vacation and stumbled upon Tortas Lokas Elizabeth¡what a gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and Karen went above and beyond to make us feel at home. “It’s funny that some of the reviews here complain about servers not speaking English...it’s an actual authentic Mexican restaurant what do you expect? The menus are in both English and Spanish and have descriptions if you are not familiar with Mexican food. I love this place and you really can’t beat the prices. The food is great and I always wind up taking some home (maybe because I fill up on all the chips and salsa they give before the meal).“

“Oh my gosh! I asked the young man who works at the record store up the street, where I could get some great food. He named a few of his favs but the way he spoke of this spot, peaked my curiosity.

I walked down there and walked inside. Right away, I knew I was in for a treat. The decor - Nacho Libre is all over the walls, as tastefully done as could be. The ambiance was great you could sit further inside or closer to the windows for a more outdoor feel. The customer service was friendly and kind. Was bummed my daughter didn’t have access to a high chair as they only have two and were being used. For a restaurant in a family friendly downtown there needs to be more high chairs available. Food was ok. Atmosphere 5 stars. Service was good. My daughter’s meal was also forgotten and did not come out with the main entree. Likely would come back for drinks and appetizers on a date night versus with my toddler.“

“No matter who you are or where you’re from, there’s a strong chance that you’re familiar with the meaning of “Taco Tuesday,” which exists across the US, from Los Angeles to small-town Tennessee, from food trucks in the barrios to high-end restaurants in hipster haunts. For some of us, it might simply call for going out and getting tacos or even just preparing our own.

Situated in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Roselle Park, this establishment is set inside a small corner suburban home where some of my colleagues decided on takeout, which came highly recommended. Upon arrival at Taqueria La Casita, or “The Little House Taqueria,” we were confronted outside by the neon signage reading “Tacos Open” and Mexican flags, among other pieces of colorful decor.

Greeted by the staff inside an un-air-conditioned cozy dining room decked out in its Mexican splendor with 4 tables. In the back, a colorful menu with nearly a dozen different types of tacos and an array of other dishes written by hand.

We opted for individual orders containing 4 tacos with Shrimp, Chicken, Steak, and Pork. While waiting, we couldn’t help but notice the trompo—the spinning, shawarma-adjacent log of marinated pork used for Al Pastor, which translates to “in the style of the shepherd.” Originating in Puebla, this came at the hands of Lebanese immigrants during the 1930s.

The tortilla itself was freshly made, of the corn variety. They were stuffed to the brim with meat prepared in front of us and served with cucumbers and lime. Fresh condiments of diced onion, cilantro, and avocado were separated in their own container, and all were needed. Various sauces accompanied in small containers, such as green, which was jalapeño-based; the darker red salsa was smoky from dried and smoked chipotle chilis; and neon orange, which was a sauce made from chili de arbol and tomato. The guacamole was absolutely delicious along with the chips, and we couldn’t get enough. The portion was a healthy size.

The service was fast; Maribel was friendly and accommodating. Authentic, fresh, and affordable—we can recommend this place.“

“I grew up in Texas and enjoyed this authentic beef taco bowl for a casual and affordable dinner in Newark. The owner and staff clearly put their hearts into each ingredient in the bowl which comes together as a Tex-Mex festival of flavors.

Everything was very fresh & obviously cooked for the order (not in advance ) Nachos & Guacamole are great starters. Just be patient because since everything is cooked on order, you have to wait a little more than usual. It's not bad service, it's worth waiting. Also another "nice touch", the menus are tablets, If you want Mexican you won't go wrong here.“

The ceviche is quite good, order it 'less spicy' like we did if that's not your thing. I had fish soft tacos, which were done well and portion size was good. Guacamole is very good - better than that C chain place. Service seemed stretched - not enough staff in my opinion, I only saw two servers and two in the kitchen (from my guess) on a Saturday night around 7pm. It's BYOB, so I guess its never really packed.“

“Wow!!! What can’t I not say about this place , the decor was incredible you can see that the place has history. I felt like going back home and changing my out for this place is amazing ! The service was Superb, we didn’t have to ask our waiter or waitress for anything we were constantly attended to . The food was great and the portions are are great.
