I went here on my birthday with a party of 12. The food was great and the staff were very accommodating.

Cold rice balls came out, entrees came out slopped together like a a child made it. Brocoli Rabe turned out to be frozen brocoli. Should of gotten refund, do not waste ur $ sicilian sun was 10×better.

Nice atmosphere, cute setting, food was hit or miss, and the service was pretty bad. The rigatoni arrabiatta was very good, the truffle pappardelle was overwhelmed with the oil and minced mushroom (not in a good way imo), and the octopus appetizer was fine at best. Service wasn’t good, the seemingly solitary waiter barely visited our table and kept going back to the table full of women across from us. We wanted to order dessert but the waiter took so long to come back that we changed our mind and refrained from ordering anything.

First time visiting 081 and I have to say I was very impressed with everything! I started off with the eggplant parmigiana which was amazing, then I finished off with the rigatoni vodka arrabiata was fantastic. It was a phenomenal experience. The service made me feel as if I was right at home. 10/10 would come back again!

I recently ate at 081 for the first time and it was fantastic. From the food to the atmosphere, everything felt authentically Italian. The pasta I got was the pennone short rib and it was cooked perfectly and for the brick oven pizza I had the 081 which had a thin, crispy crust. It was DELICIOUS! The staff was super welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for great Italian food in a cozy spot, check this place out!!!

Went with a group of 5 and had a fantastic meal! We started with a meat and cheese board, plus mussels and the beets carpaccio special. Everything was fresh and flavorful. For the mains, we ordered a variety. Started with the rigatoni vodka, fettuccine with lobster, spaghetti alle vongole and paccheri Genovese. We shared everything, and every dish was delicious in its own way, but the lobster fettuccine and paccheri were the standouts for me. The service was spot on, really attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed night out. Definitely recommend this spot for a group dinner!

I recently discovered 081 cafe through Instagram, and decided I would give it a try since it was close to my house. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff greeted us with a smile and we felt at home right away.

But the food is what really amazed me. I am italian and I tasted the difference right away. When i went they had fettuccine lobster in a cherry tomato sauce on the specials which was phenomenal also a grilled octopus which was amazing and cooked perfectly !!!

All in all, the service was great and the food was even better, leaving me eager to come back. Definitely a must try for Italian food lovers if you’re in the area

Drove past saw it appeared nice. Looked at menu in truck saw soup went in. Well apparently it's not an updated menu. No soup... ok fine got three appetizers.. shrimp, meatballs, and calamari. Calamari was worse than eating rubber bands. Shrimp was only 6 small pieces and tasted like it sat in the stomach of a fish for months. Meatballs had no flavor and the texture was terrible. The bread came out toasted which didn't work well soaking up the oil they def mixed with vegable oil to cut it. I asked the waitress if they have a bar she said no it's being your own. I said oh wow ok... after ten minutes I look across the street and see a liquor store... why didn't she just tell me that? The table we sat at rocked more than my grandmothers chair. Tables were filthy. If not for the beer I bought this place was a complete disaster. No clue how it's still open.

I ordered the truffle pasta and a side of broccoli rabe. The pasta was delicious, the broccoli rabe, after a few times asking, arrived at the end of the meal. It was microwaved cold broccoli, not broccoli rabe. Our waiter was awful, he couldn't be bothered to wait our table. However, the busboy was fabulous. He was attentive, pleasant and did a great job.

We went on with high expectations. If not for the amazing hostess (young blond gal) and two great bus boys we would have walked out. Our salads never came out and we had to ask the hostess to help us out. Our waiter NEVER came to our table except to take our order. We needed to return the Caesar salad. The lettuce was warm, the plate was hot and the dressing had a funky taste. Again if not for the few staff noted above it would have been even worse. Let me mention once again that our waiter literally disappeared. And we were not the only ones with similar complaints
We tipped the hostess and the two bus boys, but did not give the waiter a tip. At the end of the meal I went to the front to lodge a complaint nicely and was completely ignored.

We enjoy coming here, however the restaurant does not have casual prices, while they have downgraded the ambiance. Tablecloths invite a certain kind of specialness that goes along with a Saturday evening. The restaurant looks bare without them. We were disappointed that they are no longer used. Additionally, it is not necessary to showcase dessert images that do not look authentic . I think most diners would be much happier with a small number of authentic house made desserts. We do greatly miss the Sicilian Sun homemade ricotta cheesecake. A small dessert menu hand printed would be so appealing— even gelato or house made tiramisu. Pizzas are great!

I recently visited 081 Cafe, and it was a delightful experience. This charming, BYOB spot offers a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The menu features a great selection of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. I loved the flexibility of bringing my own wine, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The pasta dishes particularly stando, they were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. If you're looking for a relaxed dining experience with delicious food and the option to bring your own drinks, 081 Cafe is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
