My first time at the Inn for Brunch and I had the best omelette ever! We will definitely return.
HoHoKus Inn never disappoints! Had an amazing swordfish special which was so delicious and so huge. I ended up taking half home with me. The service is always on point and the attention to detail is always amazing, but they went over and above yesterday since it was an Anniversary and Birthday. I was was confused how they knew! They treated us more amazingly than usual! It turns out the dates are in my OpenTable profile! Bravo! We will always come back!!
It seems the hohokus inn has gone downhill. It used to be a nice place to go for a branch or a fancy dinner but the food wasn't very good, the service wasn't great either and the atmosphere was very dead. There were very few people there.
We had a special event here.
They amended our set up without prior communication. This caused some chaos at the beginning of our event. That said, they worked with us and had a very good reason for the changes. It just would have been better to know about the changes before we arrived.
The food and service was very good. The event ran smoothly and everyone was happy in the end.
In the end, I wound recommend this place for an event, Ho-Ho-Kus Inn just needs to improve its communication regarding special events.

My husband delivers to this spot. It's one of my favorite spots to go to with him! The area is so clean, pleasant and lovely to just walk around. Will visit again. Unfortunately, the times I've gone, their establishment is closed.

We had a wonderful and delicious birthday celebration. Also, the birthday desserts were on the house! A very nice gesture!
The food and service were great. Since it was requested whether or not it was a special occasion, I was surprised that my friend was not offered something with a candle on it. Just a lot of Happy Birthday.
Always a great experience when I go to The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn. Junior and his staff are always attentive and informative.
Dine here a few times a month, always a pleasure ! Service was a little off this time probably because it was "HoHoKus's Days." Everything was great, the bartender must be new he appeared to be a little inexperienced in that drink order took forever and my usual martini was a poor pour and was watered down as I watched him make it he let it sit in the shaker for over 5 minutes before pouring attempting to make other drink orders. Otherwise everything else was in order as usual. Thank You HoHoKus Inn
My favorite special occasion place or bar/ lounge. I love the cozy historic atmosphere.

Had an al fresco dinner nice but a few issues - the salad came out with the dinner, and the premo wine by the glass had multiple pieces of cork and no one came by to check how everything was until we were almost done the dinner.

I used to come to this restaurant and enjoy everything about it. It was a very quiet day yesterday at the restaurant and my family was in a room by ourselves, which was fine. however, it felt like we were forgotten our waitress never came back to check on us the whole meal never refilled after we asked and twice asked for different things We did not receive. We were also told at the end that One of the meals was an entrée when it should've been a salad with salmon on it and even at that it was only a half size! But charged for a full dinner and only received a salad w beets and salmon which is what I wanted yet charged for a full dinner I had left the restaurant and my parents were left paying a large bill that was not what was asked for and clearly confirmed upon ordering. It was my birthday and they really wasn't anything special about it. It was probably a fluke but think it's necessary to know as all customers should matter. It seemed like the waitress wanted just to make more money because she didn't have very many tables and that was not fair. I was also charged for my dessert which is fine but again it was my birthday and they were no special favors of any kind. I appreciate the food quality and atmosphere and will plan to return at some point but probably not soon as other places have far exceeded this care.
So great to have the HoHoKus Inn in our neighborhood. The food is good, and it's nice to be able to order a drink instead of doing the BYOB thing again. The service is one of the strong points in my opinion. It's professional and friendly. The option to sit outside on a beautiful night is also a plus.
On the higher side of price. Food was ok. Drinks are highly priced. Ambiance was very nice. We sat on second floor.
Food is good. Too expensive
