Ordered the meatball it was smaller than what is advertised, the sauce was really good and the crusty bread with garlic butter was excellent, wish they made pizza though with their coal oven, it would be off the hook!Parking: Parking everywhere in Hoboken is hard.

As excited as I was to try this place, Me & my friends are highly disappointed. Our reservation was at 1pm, we reached at 12:40 ( we waited & no problem with that coz we were early) . Well then we got seated to a table at 1 pm but right near garbage disposal place. We requested them to move us - by this time it is 1:05. I had to request someone to please at least give us water which again took few mins and then again had to request someone to take our order. We ordered around 1:15 ish and didn’t receive our food for an hour. I am not exaggerating. The glasses and napkins on the table were not clean too. Like why? The dishes are expensive, it’s a high end diner. I don’t think am coming again ever. And it’s not like food was worth it anyway.

Great time, food, service and atmosphere. Love the music playlist, vibe , decorations and historical aspect of the location and oven. Our waiter John Michael is on top of his game.Definitely recommend the short rib and escargot. Only negative is not many gluten free options.

The service was great and the food was phenomenal. Our server john michael made the experience. They did everything they could to offer alternates to popular sold out items and made the birthday celebration special.

AntiqueAntique was one of my favorite places we went to in all of Hoboken. We went immediately at 5pm because we didn’t have a reservation and wanted to catch a show in midtown. We were seated quickly and discussed what to get. We split a pasta dish (I forgot the name but it was amazing) and had the famous bread pudding.Let me start by saying the atmosphere of this restaurant is exactly what you want from a NJ / NY bar dinner. It is sexy and bustling, old yet upscale. I ateeee this up.The food was beyond incredible. The pasta dish we had was 11/10. Just so flavorful, creamy and comforting for that December night. The bread pudding can not be missed. It is what they’re known for and it seriously is the best you’ll ever have. It is physically massive so you can share this with 4 people easily.Overall - a perfect night out with the best food and company. Can not wait to be back!!

CUSTOMERS NOT VALUED! Was looking forward to happy hour and the stuffed bread everyone raves about. When I ordered it, I was informed they don’t receive the bread from the bakery next door until after 8pm. Why would you boast it on your menu if it isn’t available until after 8pm. Then, was informed after I asked why the bill didn’t recognize happy hour that only a few drinks are included and the server pointed to 4 random cocktails on the menu. Nowhere does it specify this online or paper menu. Our bartender JP was excellent and tried to talk to the manager but the manager said she could only take off TWO DOLLARS from the entire bill. Extremely underwhelming. Please make a more specific menu with details about the stuffed bread and the happy hour deals to avoid more unsatisfied customers.

Very very good food. The place is small and cramped and dimly lit. We had to use our phone light to see the menu. The music at times was so loud I was yelling over it to talk. The bathrooms are small and kind of dirty, there was no holder for the toilet paper and I found it behind the toilet which is gross. The wait staff felt very chill. Our waiter was nice, he forgot my friends drink and then brought it out and didn’t charge for it so that’s good.In order to eat at a decent time you need to book a reservation way in advance. I had to keep my eye on it when the new reservations would open online so I can get the time slot I wanted which was 7:30. I booked like 2 weeks in advance. We ended up getting there at 7:45 and it was no issue. We had a to wait a bit for the host to arrive at the front to seat us. There were some people trying to get in without a reservation and it seemed the staff was nice to them and tried but I don’t think it happened.I got the burger $26. Big filling burger. The flavor was like no other burger. The crisp/ char on the outside tasted so unique. Perhaps because it was cooked in the 100 year old oven. The fries where cooked perfectly. I loved the addition of the pickle on the side and the pickles on top of the burger! I love pickles. My friend got the Mezzi Rigatoni and the sauce was delicious, also never tasted a sauce like that before. She really enjoyed it. All big portions. And we had to get the bread pudding the size of a head for dessert! $25. Best bread pudding I ever had!! It’s crispy on the outside but hot and steamy and puddingy on the inside. The cocktail I got was “grow a pear” $16 and it was very good. Sweet and bubble but not too sweet and had a delicate fruity flavor.Despite its flaws I would definitely come back just because the food is so good. The prices are spot on for the portions and quality of food you are getting. Come try this place!

My bill was just shy of $500 for two people and the experience wasn’t worth that. Most of what we wanted was sold out because we had a 9:15pm reservation (Remember that if you dare try this place). After the first six things we wanted were sold out, we ended up sharing the porterhouse. The porterhouse was honestly average at best and that spice chili sauce was blah. The prosciutto in the sprouts was burnt. The mezcal sour I ordered wasn’t balanced properly with agave or simply sugar. Dessert was good and so was the salad and mussels. Other than dessert, I can have had the rest better somewhere else. All and all, I wish I could get money back. The waiter knew it was a bad experience too. At one point he even said, “I’m sorry, I’m just the messenger”. I spent way too much money to compromise on what we wanted to eat and it still wasn’t great.

The food at this restaurant was absolutely incredible - the burger and bread pudding were both amazing. The servers were friendly and attentive. However, I have to deduct a star due to the CLEANLINESS of the place. Walking into a dusty environment is a major turn-off for me. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for the establishment to improve. A thorough cleaning and consistent maintenance by the staff are necessary.

Originally made my reservation for 7:45 pm for Friday. Got a call Friday afternoon from the restaurant telling me that my reservation would be pushed back to 8pm but offered me a complimentary bread pudding (which was nice). I got to the restaurant at 7:55 pm and was not seated until 8:15 pm.The food was delicious. The place is blasting with music makes it really hard to have a conversation without yelling.I would NOT recommend going to eat there on a “busy” night. I would recommend take out.Not to mention, there is a 1 hour and 20 minute seating time limit. However, since service was so slow, I ended up sitting there from 8:20 pm to 10:20 pm.

Food was great and the bread pudding was amazing, although be ready to wait for it. Will assume they were short handed or something, the service was a bit lacking but very nice. Messed up some orders which was mostly addressed once we flagged down someone after 10 mins. Didn't get any consideration on the bill, though. A few other kinks too. Even though the food took a long time to come out, we got rushed out once the bill arrived. Despite all that give it a shot, the food is worth it. If you have a picky person in your group, they may have trouble finding something to eat though.

Sat at the bar. No hello, eye contact, nod, or basic greeting of any kind. Menus dropped in front of us. Throughout our meal it became apparent that the bartender was kind and well meaning but clearly lacked basic service skills / hospitality training. Not great!Food runners seemed unsure of themselves as they awkwardly placed dishes in front of us.Bussers were non existent. Dirty dishes sat in front of us for most of our meal.Cocktails were extremely sugary and unbalanced.Appetizers arrived luke warm / room temperature… isn’t this place known for an oven? Wanted to send back to heat up but couldn’t even get staffs attentionPasta was bland and also room temp. The steak was the only thing that came out hot, and although delicious, felt VERY* over priced ($75…. No side, no fries, no nothin?… dude, come ON!)Music was so loud we couldn’t wait to leave. We all exhaled a sigh of relief when we left the restaurant, agreed it was an overpriced and underwhelming if not frustrating experience and decided we’d likely never be back.Try it for yourself, good luck
