A Hoboken classic, the bagels are hard to beat on both sides of the Hudson. We've been long time fans of JP's and usually eat the bagel sandwiches, a classic bagel with cream cheese and the kids love the rainbow bagels. We order online ahead of time so we can run in and grab. We've never had an error in our order when ordering online.

Love this place. Great food and fast service. They are busy though so plan for that and order pick up!

If there was an option for no stars they would apply. As someone who also works in the food business Im understanding. There’s no need for attitude if I’m asking about my order after waiting for a long period of time . They yelled out my name when I got to the register they were lost . They have a sign on the register to ask about your order don’t wait 45 minutes to bring it up . I simply asked her about my order after waiting and being pushed in an unorganized atmosphere. To get an attitude that she can’t help me because she’s too busy . I never asked her to stop and go make my item I’m asking after simply because she yelled my name and now she can’t help me .
You’re better off going to O bagel or The Hive for better service in Hoboken.

I always have been and always will be a sausage, egg, and cheese lover. I used to think that even a “bad” SE&C wasn’t really that bad (like the saying, bad pizza is still pizza). This place changed that for me. The bagel itself was really mediocre. I had ordered it toasted, but they didn’t toast it. Unfortunately, I think toasting would have helped their case a bit, but alas. However, my biggest gripe is that my scrambled egg was not fully cooked. There were still wet mucus-y strands of egg. I’ve never had that happen with a breakfast sandwich before. The whole experience was just plain bad.
The place is popping off! Food is fresh and served quickly for all commuters to snatch a delicious bite while still catchig their trains😋
Tons of options, so strongly recommend you check the menu first and go in. Although, they have a great pick up/delivery system set up which makes things easier for all busy people.
Best part is... albeit the limited space inside - they have a big kitchen in the back for all the food they need to make - the outdoor seating is brilliant. I was able to happily enjoy my turkey egg and cheese in a spinach wrap 😋

We placed an online for 3 different bagels; the order was ready on time as overall I’d say A- however one of our orders was wrong. The cream cheese had chocolate dips!!!
Not much place to sit inside but they have a few tables outside. We’d go back when in town and reasonable prices.

I placed my order online for an egg and cheese bagel sandwich. Pickup was fast. What I don’t understand is how sliced carrots ended up in my bagel sandwich. First off, that’s not even a normal topping. Second off, I did not order that. Not a pleasant surprise. Also I didn’t like how the pickled jalapeños were sliced. They were sliced lengthwise instead of slices.

Never had a breakfast sandwich where they literally don’t put salt or pepper on the eggs. They literally scrambled the egg & sausage & just thru it on a cold bun ! Ugh I gotta find time to start cooking in the house !!

This place used to be the best of the best for breakfast sandwiches. Perfectly toasted, melted cheese, S&P Ketchup Mayo - Taylor ham warm and griddled. The sandwich I received was dryer than stale bread. Cheese unmelted, smallest piece of Taylor ham you’ve ever seen in your life. I can’t believe how far this place has fallen off. Another Hoboken institution ruined by an influx of finance bros whose impatience has lead to a terrible quality.

They can never get the food right you asked for a specific order for an example. I asked for a sausage, egg and cheese on a roll with salt, pepper, and ketchup. That’s it why they had it hot pepper or hot sauce not the first time they do it. This is like the second time I had a literally throw away the whole sandwich. I was too far away from this place to go back.
