My boyfriend and I have been coming to Karma for years and it is absolutely our favorite restaurant in all of Hoboken! The food is always consistent and so delicious! The environment is like your perfect cozy spot and is usually full of other groups and couples having fun! The servers are really outstanding and so friendly and attentive. Several have worked there for many years and it truly feels so homey when you are there. We have brought our families many times and each time...
A good overall experience at Karma Cafe! The prawn tandoori was the star — perfectly cooked and beautifully spiced. The goat biryani was decent, though it leaned more towards a pulao in texture and style rather than a traditional biryani — but the generous portion easily fed three of us. The complimentary masala papad was a lovely touch, full of flavor. If you're in the area and craving good Indian food, Karma Cafe is well worth a visit!
I have been going to the place for a while, no doubt the food is good but they have slightly less veg options, and also not sure why they started charging gratuity 15% in the bill even for 2 people without consent.
