I also recommend trying the Irish Poutine. The fries have an even coating of curry sauce, which means every bite is going to be delicious. Me and my partner ate in mostly silence while we were here, which is a sign that the food really hit our souls here.Drinks wise, there is a solid beer and cider menu, with a number of options from Ireland and the UK that you won’t find at other spots around town.Service wise, everyone here is friendly.

One of the BEST burgers I've ever had! My husband wanted to watch the game, and so we decided to go to one of the bars in Hoboken. Initially he picked a different bar, but with significantly lower reviews (3 stars). I wanted a "gastropub" so chose Moran's. I'm so happy we did! We sat at the bar since we knew we wanted to watch the game. The place was pretty full with only 2 seats open at the bar and 2 tables in the back. The bar itself isn't that large but has adequate seating. We ordered beer and cider to start and then the Moran burger and steak sandwich. These both come with either fries or a salad. We opted for fries. The burger is unlike most out there -- it has truffle mayo, arugula, Irish-style bacon, Irish cheddar, and crispy onions. OMG this was heaven! I love burgers and this ranks as one of the very best ones I've EVER had. The owner was there also serving drinks and he was so nice! Amazing pub in Hoboken! Will definitely be back!!

Where ever I go, I still haven't found a burger as good as the one at Morans. The wait staff are always nice, even when I'm there solo just to chow down the "Morans's Burger." I generally sit outside and the staff takes good care of me while I'm there. I like being able to be outside under the trees. It's a nice atmosphere.

Best burger I've had in Hoboken. The house salad is great - has a unique dressing that I love (maybe ginger/miso?). Service can be slow but the food always makes up for it :)

Possibly the best burger I have had in Hoboken is the Moran's burger. 7th Street Burger is good for a quick bite but if you want something bigger and more ~prestige~ Moran's is the Pub for you. They also have great Guinness and Whiskey shot deals.

There’s no longer any debate. The Moran’s burger is the best burger in Hoboken. This delicacy is in many ways classic yet at the same time unique. There it sits with the beef patty topped with Irish bacon, a special sauce and onion strings, best pickle slice I’ve had and the fries on the side are also quality. It’s important to also note that the size of the Moran’s burger has not suffered in recent years as some of its counterparts in the area seem to have. Here, you get a FULL SIZED BURGER!!! Enjoy your burger with a Moran’s Special (a pint of Guinness and a shot of Irish whisky) for $10.. the menu is full with other tasty treats from the steak sandwich, nachos, wings, giant pretzel… I could go on but it’s hard to make a bad choice at Moran’s. As for the bar, it’s a traditional Irish pub style adorned with golf memorabilia. The owner is Irish so there’s no funny business here. Moran’s is my go to pub in Hoboken, no buts about it.
