We were going to see a show in Hoboken, and this place was recommended to us. Not a huge place. There was outdoor seating, but we were inside. We weren't there for a long time, just ordered drinks and food and left. Drinks were good. Big selection of beers, unfortunately not Miller High Life, but that seems to be the norm. Moran’s is easily one of the best spots in Hoboken, and in my opinion, they have the best burger in town. It’s the kind of place that feels like a true neighborhood bar, cozy inside, comfortable seating, friendly atmosphere, and a great setup if you want to sit outside when the weather is nice.

Ive had several lovely meals at Moran’s throughout the years. Love the fish and chips and the Cobb salad is great too. Unfortunately, tonight was different. I arrived early and placed my order at 5:45. A cheeseburger and the tofu. 35 minutes later, when I asked if someone could check on our food, I was treated liked I’d asked for something wild.
