So glad that what was formerly It’s Pinsa did not close and instead exists here in Hoboken as Ovale! It was so depressing to see my favorite spots disappear since the pandemic. My favorite pizza! Definitely artisanal and well-crafted. The unique dough blend and lengthy time for fermentation makes the mouth feel and experience a stand-out and crave-worthy! So light and tasty with just the right amounts of each ingredient for a satisfying, balanced and crusty bite. I always get the red funghi pie as I don’t eat mammals. Everyone I’ve brought loves it too and selects different options. It never disappoints! I’m a big eater and I often take home a slice or two. It’s a smaller joint than the earlier location with just a few indoor seats and some outdoor seating depending on the season. I love to bring my dog here after we play in the big dog park a few blocks away. Highly recommended!

Came here for dinner after reading the pizza reviews. When we finished I asked to use the restroom and they recommended my wife and I to find a place on the corner which was interesting. Pizza was greasy and service was… not the best.

Visited two times this weekend. First for the gelato (pistachio and the gianduia) which was some of the best gelato we’ve had in these parts, and then we came back for sandwiches (cotto and caprese - pictured), both delicious. Top notch.

Very good pizza. My wife and I went this evening and ordered 2 pizzas (I thought 1 looked small) -the burrata margarita and the mushroom pizza (I can’t recall the actual names). Both were perfection. They bake their on bread in the AM and you can tell how fresh it is. If you’re looking for a great pizza, that is light, fresh - and you don’t feel bad after eating - then this is the place for you. I absolutely will be back for the pie and to try the homemade tiramisu and gelato. Molto bene!

OMG this pizza was so good! We got the Diavola and La Mortadella with Di Parma salad and it was all *chefs kiss*! We had to reheat it in the oven as we ordered delivery but the crust came out crisp and the toppings were simple, balanced and delicious!

Very small, mostly take-out. A few tables outside but there are usually a bunch of delivery guys camped out on them waiting. Pizza is by far one of the best in HB/JC.

I don’t write a lot of google reviews but had to jump in to give kudos to Ovale. I love their pizza and order it all the time. Today I ordered it through Seamless (usually I order it directly through them/Toast) but went a different route tonight and then of course order got screwed up on the Seamless end and Ovale called me and made everything right. Really appreciate the care they have for their customers here. Pizza is incredible!! Love the Amatriciano and the Focciacias! Great addition to Hoboken
