A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal
This was a great place to stop for a meal, and I enjoyed my experience here. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy the food. Chango Kitchen offers an impressive Cuban cuisine experience, with well-seasoned and flavorful dishes. The staff is friendly, and the vibe is super laid-back, making it a perfect alcohol-free hangout. The food is full of flavor and portions are generous. Compared to other spots, the pricing is very fair and affordable. The Plato de Chango, a assorted plate of Cuban appetizers, is a must-try, especially the Cilantro sauce with Yucca fries and Pimiento Piquidillo. The vegetarian options, such as the veg quesadilla and Picadillo, are also highly recommended. The Mofongos with Roasted Pork and empanadas are delicious.
