A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal

Ordered the patatas bravas, churrasco chimi, and anticucho according to our server’s recommendation and it was so good! Cherry on top was Nina, our server, who was so friendly and made our experience here great!

Chango Kitchen offers an impressive Cuban cuisine experience, with well-seasoned and flavorful dishes. The staff is friendly, and the vibe is super laid-back, making it a perfect alcohol-free hangout. The food is full of flavor and portions are generous. Compared to other spots, the pricing is very fair and affordable. The Plato de Chango, a assorted plate of Cuban appetizers, is a must-try, especially the Cilantro sauce with Yucca fries and Pimiento Piquidillo. The vegetarian options, such as the veg quesadilla and Picadillo, are also highly recommended. The Mofongos with Roasted Pork and empanadas are delicious. The guava cheesecake is a highlight for dessert. The Tamal Cubano was fantastically delicious. The Cubano was very well done. The rice and beans were perfect. The roasted pork is one of the favorite dishes. The monfongo con Lechón is pictured. The Cuban mojito mix is great. Chango Kitchen is highly recommended for its Spanish and Cuban food options.
