So glad that what was formerly It’s Pinsa did not close and instead exists here in Hoboken as Ovale! It was so depressing to see my favorite spots disappear since the pandemic. My favorite pizza! Visited two times this weekend. First for the gelato (pistachio and the gianduia) which was some of the best gelato we’ve had in these parts, and then we came back for sandwiches (cotto and caprese - pictured), both delicious. Top notch.
Very good pizza. My wife and I went this evening and ordered 2 pizzas (I thought 1 looked small) -the burrata margarita and the mushroom pizza (I can’t recall the actual names). Both were perfection. They bake their on bread in the AM and you can tell how fresh it is. If you’re looking for a great pizza, that is light, fresh - and you don’t feel bad after eating - then this is the place for you. I absolutely will be back for the pie and to try the homemade tiramisu and gelato....
