I’ve been here a million times and it’s good in terms of food, but they are always slow & disorganized (and not particularly friendly). Today they completely forgot about our smoothie order and we had to remind them after noticing everyone who ordered after us was receiving their açaí bowls, which notoriously take longer to prepare.. If you come here, just be prepared to wait.
I was at playa bowls today for the first time. I wasn’t so sure what to pick but the staff was so nice and helped me choice. The guy in the counter helped me choice by showing me many popular items. I believe his name was Andres but correct me if I am wrong. I ended up getting a Nutella bowl and it was so so good. I love the vibe of the store it very tropical and it very calming and clean. I could even study there. I be definitely coming in the future.
If you’re looking for an amazing pre- or post-workout treat — or just something delicious to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling guilty — this place is it. The service is always wonderful, and the Cowabunga Smoothie is one of my personal favorites.
