Surf Taco- Hoboken CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

This place is a scam. 2 hours and 2 orders later, still no tacos and somehow I paid them 30 dollars. Now no one picks up the phone. I’m sure the tacos are delightful if you ever get them. Surfs up dude.

Great service - ok burrito but would try again

Sadly, my last visit to surf taco. I’ve been coming for years but lately service and quality has plummeted. This most recent visit was the nail in the coffin. Ordered one of the specials and after waiting over 30 minutes I asked if mine was being made. Place wasn’t busy at all, but was told it was which was a lie because I could see they just put the meat on the grill after realizing they forgot. When I got home to eat my “wrap” it was completely fallen apart and was nearly inedible. It was like a toddler wrapped it up. Very little meat, mostly lettuce and mayo which was repulsive. Gunna be sad to see this place close it’s doors soon due to its inadequacy to fulfill a simple order.

First time here. The food was good and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Tried the shrimp taco yummmmmmy

The bad side to them.. They are very rude when placing order over the phone which makes me feel like not placing the order. The good Ughh when you guys want some good tacos I recommend this place buffalo tacos are on point,salmon tacos if they are in season ,and shrimp tacos.

Above and beyond awesomeness especially for the price

The tacos were good although I've had better from authentic Mexican restaurants, but for the price/speed/convenience its was great and the customer service was awesome

Nice staff, pretty fast food. Not your upscale Tex Mex however, hence the stars rating. Otherwise good.

For was fresh and tacos were overstuffed. Cleanest bathrooms in Hoboken. Beans were bland like they poured them ouy of a Goya can.

As long as you don't get delivery......... the service is fast & the food is good.

As a Jersey Shore native, I've been a fan of surf taco since I was a kid. The food is definitely not the tastiest in Hoboken, but a great option to mix it up and is fairly priced.

Really just the blandest tacos you can find. I don't get it - is bland tacos a thing? There are plenty of good taco places in Hudson County. Besides its convenient location near the station, why else would you go here? Plus, those other places deliver. Try Pico Taco (really nearby), Chicazapa, Taqueria Gloria, Cemitas Puebla, Mezcal Kitchen ... I mean, basically any other taco place in the area.
